
Guided Astral Projection: Mind Awake Body Asleep Technique
Inspired by the techniques thought by the pioneer in astral projection, Robert Monroe, you are secured to get a good experience from this guided meditation. The technique used is called "MABA," which stands for Mind Awake Body Asleep. Background music is embedded with 4.5Hz Theta brainwaves which will bring your state of mind into deep relaxation and focus.

You are here to practice astral projection.
It is truly an amazing experience that comes naturally to each and every one of us.
All you need to do is relax and continue each night the techniques of astral projection.
Today we will follow the Monroe Technique.
Robert Monroe is a pioneer in astral projection.
A few preparations must be done in order to ensure a happy astral travel.
Number 1.
Make sure you will not be disturbed by any family members,
Pets,
Or notifications from a nearby device.
Step number 2.
Get very comfortable.
You must be lying down in bed,
Preferably on your back.
But you want to remain motionless for a long period of time.
Make sure you consider being warm or cool,
Whichever you like.
Step number 3.
Don't give yourself any time limits.
Setting a time limit can make for you to worry about when the end is coming.
Give yourself as much time as possible.
Number 4.
The time of day can be important towards astral projection.
If you try to astral project right when you're feeling sleepy,
You may just fall asleep instead.
Some suggest practicing astral projection in the morning right after you wake up.
And number 5.
Just be.
Allow yourself to be as you are.
No need to concern yourself with anything you have to do or anything you have done.
Just let for your mind to generate and then dissipate various images until it calms down.
You can even let your body move and let go of any shakes or twitches you have before becoming motionless.
So do that now.
Move your arms and legs around just a little bit.
Moving your neck from side to side.
Knowing that in a moment you will become motionless.
Let your body come to a resting position whenever you feel like you've gotten any movement out that you needed to do.
Inhaling deeply and pulling in energy from all parts of your body.
Keeping all that energy you breathe in built within the mind.
And each time you exhale,
Let go of any old and stale energy.
Continue to breathe in,
Gathering energy from all parts of your body,
Drawing it into the mind.
And exhaling,
Letting go of any stress or concern.
Do this now.
Your mind may wander away from breathing and that's fine.
Remember you are just being.
Return to the breath,
Inhaling any energy,
Collecting it,
Bringing it to the mind,
Breathing out any old,
Stagnant energy.
Let it flow away.
Notice how relaxed your body is.
You know you have nowhere to go.
Nobody needs you right now.
This time is for you to explore the astral realm.
You are still,
Calm and without distraction.
What an amazing opportunity.
Notice how comfy and cozy you are.
If your eyes haven't closed,
Please do so.
Notice the darkness behind your eyes.
And when you focus on this darkness,
You may see different colors and shapes.
Focus on these beautiful colors and shapes for a few moments.
Okay.
It is so simple and easy to lay with your eyes closed and letting your thoughts drift and wander around.
Things come into the mind and things leave the mind.
They are emptying each thing you think of.
Let the muscles all around your eyes relax.
Let all the muscles of the jaw sag loose and relaxed.
The muscles in your jaw are letting go.
There is no effort to be applied in relaxing your jaw.
It is letting go of any effort at all.
Say to yourself now,
I am more than my physical body.
And because I am more than physical matter,
I can perceive all that is greater than the physical world.
Therefore,
In these astral projection exercises,
I deeply desire to expand my consciousness,
To know and understand,
And the control to use such great energies and flow within the energy systems that are all around us.
Exploring astral projection is beneficial to me and to those who follow me.
You are moving towards a sleepy feeling now.
It's only your physical body that feels like it's about to go to sleep.
You may feel a numbness.
It is fine.
Feels good.
No need to keep your body awake.
Your body is resting.
Easy enough.
Let your thoughts drift around.
Your mind wants to be awake.
Whew!
That's better.
Hurry!
Notice how you are losing physical sensations.
This is good.
It is quite an enjoyable experience.
You are free to explore,
Experiment and learn.
You are sure and secure in all the knowledge you already possess in your life.
You are giving yourself time to just lay and think.
Are you considering to update your life,
You need to do all of that?
You Remember,
You are placing no effort on anything at all.
You are just laying and becoming an observer.
The mind is simply wandering and witnessing.
Do absolutely nothing.
You are not moving in any sort of way.
You notice maybe that your eyes are moving around easily in the head.
This is called rapid eye movement.
This is your body signaling to relax even more.
You may feel if you are floating a little bit,
Or perhaps a gentle falling sensation.
Maybe you are sensing absolutely nothing at all.
Sit in these feelings you are just observing.
These feelings may start to change.
Do you notice anywhere in your body a very gentle vibration?
Some people feel a weightlessness,
Or a pleasant disorientation.
Perhaps a slight tingling.
Notice that with your willpower,
You can enhance this feeling.
And you can also decrease this feeling.
Imagine now you are either enhancing the vibrational feeling,
Or decreasing it.
It follows along with your instruction.
This sensation may feel a little strange,
But after some time it will feel completely normal and natural.
Focus on this weightlessness.
You are feeling your own energy.
Know that this vibrational and empty state can be maintained for a very long period of time.
It is okay for this vibrational state to continue.
Enjoy the experience.
Begin to enjoy exploring your own thoughts.
Notice how easy it is to create vivid images within the mind.
They can be entertaining,
As well as informative.
The images in your mind in this relaxed state appear much more vivid than they have before.
Now allow yourself to enhance this vibrational state.
With the power of your will,
Make the vibrations stronger.
Allow them to grow and expand.
You have no fear.
Do this now.
It is possible you feel a little disoriented,
And that is perfectly natural.
The consciousness is getting prepared for separation.
Your consciousness is now resting in the astral body.
But the astral body may be still inside your physical body.
So let's begin by imagining moving your astral body.
By just imagining your astral body is moving the right arm,
Without moving your arm physically at all.
Perhaps you can imagine reaching for something on the side of your bed,
Or just moving your fingers slightly,
Without actually moving your physical body.
Feel your astral body extending the arm out now.
Extending it from the body feels kind of good.
Now imagine moving one of your legs with your astral body.
Analyze the sensations you feel.
It is a strange sensation,
Mentally moving around your astral body.
But this feeling becomes natural with time.
After you have practiced moving around your arms or legs with your astral body,
Let's now imagine sitting up in bed.
Sitting up and perhaps placing your feet on the floor.
Imagine how your feet feel when they make contact with the floor.
Stepping out of your body now.
Then you can witness your body from an outside perspective.
See how you are resting so comfortably in the bed.
So nice to be so relaxed.
You can even imagine that you are a few feet above your body.
You can just sense your sleeping body below you.
Don't worry if you lose consciousness for a little while.
This is just called a blackout and it's completely normal.
It actually feels quite good.
And if you fall asleep,
It's perfectly fine you are practicing.
You will have exciting and vivid dreams waking up extremely refreshed.
Do not consider falling asleep a failed attempt.
Notice your body resting.
That your mind is outside of it.
Your mind can wander about your house.
Imagine opening various doors that you know so well.
You can go into your kitchen or in your bathroom.
All within your mind.
Let's go outside of your home now and explore the astral realm.
Before we explore the astral realm,
Let us first close our eyes.
We will focus today on another activity.
We will do this for 11 minutes byater.
Where do you find yourself located?

What does the astral realm look like for you?

Notice how your astral body feels.
Is it light and airy?
You can use this body to explore in any way you wish.
Remember that any fearful feelings can just be left behind.
There is absolutely nothing to fear with astral projection.
You can use this body to explore in any way you wish.
If you are presented with something that is uncomfortable,
Just know you are practicing.
It is normal to experience uncomfortable sensations.
You are getting used to something new.
Continue practicing moving about your astral body.
You are getting used to something new.
If you find your consciousness still remains in the bed,
Just practice moving your toes or your fingers without your physical body moving.
When you rise from your astral session,
It is best to write down your experience in a journal.
Remember that at first these astral methods can be tiring,
So only attempt astral projection once a day.
If you fell asleep,
It is no failure,
You are practicing.
Some people practice astral projection for months or a year and then suddenly they are out of body.
Adedicate yourself to this artistic consciousness expression.
You may imagine yourself floating up to the ceiling.
Don't be afraid to fight for the goal ofateral You can feel your body resting very still.
Being motionless means your body is healing while your mind wanders around.
Music Your consciousness is now in the astral realm.
Explore.
Some strange things may happen in this state.
That is why you are here,
To experience new things.
Music Notice how maintaining a still and motionless body is effortless.
It is almost as if your physical body wants for your mind to explore.
Music You may rise from this session in your own time or drift off into a beautiful and rejuvenating sleep.
Either way,
Remember to journal your experience.
Close off your exercise now and return,
Moving back easily and calmly to the point where you began.
