Namaste and welcome to this practice.

Today we will focus on balancing our first chakra,

Which is called in Sanskrit,

Mula Dara,

With Mula meaning root and Adara meaning support or base.

This chakra is very important because it stands at the basis of the entire chakra system.

It's very important for all of us to have it balanced.

And today we will do a brief meditation that will help you balance again your first chakra.

First of all,

Be sure to be in a silent spot of your house.

Turn off the light,

Find a comfortable position.

You can sit on a chair,

But be sure to ground your feet on the earth.

Or you can also sit in Sukhasana with your legs crossed on the floor,

On your yoga mat or on the bed.

Whenever you are ready,

Just close your eyes,

Bring your column into a straight position and take a moment to arrive into the practice.

Start focusing on your breath.

Visualize the air that flows inside and outside your nose.

Feel the gentle touch of the air on your skin.

And let the air flow naturally inside and outside your body.

With every inhalation,

Visualize the flow of the air going from your nose through all your spine arriving at the basis into your first chakra.

Whenever the air arrives at the basis of your column,

Visualize a red sphere of light.

With every inhalation,

This red sphere grows and becomes more bright,

More powerful.

With every inhalation,

Follow the air going from your nose all the way down until the end of your spine at the basis of your column.

And feel the red sphere growing,

Becoming more powerful,

Becoming bigger.

And let the air flow naturally inside and outside your nose.

Observe how your chakra is growing,

How it is becoming more powerful,

More strong thanks to the help of the air.

Your Mooladhara chakra is now big,

Strong,

Powerful,

Bright.

Feeling the power of this chakra flowing into your body.

Feel yourself grounded,

Stable,

Calm,

Safe.

Feel yourself strong and powerful.

As your chakra grows,

You also grow and you become more strong.

Now visualize once again the red,

Bright sphere of your Mooladhara chakra at the basis of your spine.

From your chakra,

A small root starts growing and connects you with the ground,

With the soil.

Let this small root grow.

Let it go deeper inside the earth and every time you exhale,

This small root starts growing and becoming bigger,

Rammified.

With every exhalation,

A new root grows from your chakra,

A new root grows from the basis of your spine as you were a strong and stable tree rooted on earth.

Let the roots expanding from your body towards the ground,

Let the roots become bigger,

Stronger and more stable,

Allowing you to be grounded.

Let it go deeper inside the earth.

Now that your roots are expanded and strong,

Use them to absorb new energy from the ground,

From the earth.

With every inhalation,

Absorb new energy,

New strength and feel more grounded.

When you exhale,

Let everything that you don't need anymore go out,

Release all the unnecessary thoughts,

Release the heaviness,

Release all the frustrations and inhale new positive thoughts,

Inhale strength,

Absorb energy,

Absorb stability.

From your roots,

Absorb everything that makes you feel stronger and whenever you feel nourished,

Whenever you feel connected with the ground,

With the earth,

You can start observing the roots inside of you once again.

Slowly your roots come back into your Mooladhara chakra and when you absorb the roots,

You absorb all the energy that they captured.

Now that your Mooladhara chakra is energized and balanced again,

Feel yourself grounded,

Feel yourself stable,

Strong,

Safe and calm.

And you can now repeat as a mantra these words,

I am grounded.

I am grounded.

Gently bring your hands together to your heart center into Namaste Mudra.

Bring your chin down and whenever you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Beautiful meditation. I like how her voice is calm without having that fake relaxing tone to it. I also enjoyed the visualizations, timing, and her lovely accent!
