Before we begin,

Please find a comfortable position whether seated or lying down and just bring your attention to your breathing.

Bring your attention into the breath and into the body.

Begin to feel,

Note the rhythm and the natural rhythm of the breath and the gentleness of the breath,

Just tuning into the breath.

And at this moment you may like to close your eyes and continue to pay attention to the sensation of the breath as you breathe in and breathe out.

And allowing yourself to become more still and more relaxed as you sink deeper into the present moment.

Now continue to pay attention to the breath,

Following the breath into the nostrils and to the back of the throat,

Following it into the lungs,

Just noticing the gentle rising of your chest and belly,

The rising and falling of the chest and belly as you breathe naturally.

Just being with your breath,

Being with the natural rhythm of the breath,

Whether it's shallow or deep it matters not.

But to just be with the breath,

Just allow the breath to be exactly as it is.

At any moment if you like to take a deep breath through the nostrils and let it out through the mouth gently,

And allowing yourself to become more present,

More still,

More centered.

As we return to presence,

Return to the here and now.

Withdrawing energy of the thinking mind that is constantly thinking about the past or future,

Rarely ever in the present moment.

So now we're returning to the presence where life is beyond imagination and memories.

We're returning home,

The present moment.

So allow your breath to be natural and gentle and at this moment begin to expand your awareness beyond the breath into the rest of your body,

The face,

The scalp.

Gently place your attention on the face and scalp,

Noticing any sensations arising in the face and scalp.

And begin to expand this awareness,

Scanning down the head into the neck and back of the neck,

Back of the head,

Scanning down the shoulders,

Scanning down the chest,

Just being present with every cell and every atom of your body as you scan down towards your belly,

Lower back,

Down your arms all the way to your hands and fingers,

Scanning down towards your thighs and knees,

All the way scanning down towards your ankles,

Feet and toes.

Now place your whole attention on the body from head to toe,

Just being present with every cell,

Every atom,

Just being there,

Being present with every organ that is functioning as it should to keep us alive at this present moment.

Paying tribute,

Gratitude,

A sense of love and respect to every cell and every atom.

And being completely present with every cell and every atom of the body.

At this moment,

Any thoughts and emotions arising and passing away,

Allowing it to arise and pass away and returning to the body again gently,

Without the need to resist or change.

Simply allowing the suchness of this moment to be exactly as it is,

And surrendering to the present moment exactly as it is.

And recognizing the deep peace that arises from this state of total surrender and acceptance of the present moment in this moment.

And if thoughts arise,

Or judgments,

Also apply the same condition,

Unconditional acceptance,

Whatever you experience in the present moment.

Mirroring the universe as the mirroring the universe as the universe allows all things to be as they are.

No resistance,

No fighting.

And thus,

Peace and harmony is the natural state of life,

Natural state of the universe.

And we begin to mirror that,

And tune into the natural state of life,

And the natural state of you,

The natural state that you are,

Peace,

Completeness and wholeness.

And your natural state of peace and unconditional love begins to emerge as you become more still and more present.

There is no need to add new knowledge or new belief systems.

Simply being present with life allows you to reconnect with the source of life,

With the infinite presence that permeates all time and space.

And the innate quality of that presence begins to emerge from the depth of your being,

And permeate every cell and every atom of your body.

This natural state of peace and love that has no cause,

But it arises from the infinite and pervades all time and space.

So be still,

Be present,

And allow yourself to be nourished by that loving presence,

That loving presence of divine,

The infinite,

The source.

These are just words that point to something that cannot be comprehended by the human mind,

For it is beyond the mind,

Beyond the body,

But it pervades all time and space.

The infinite,

The cradle of life,

That allows the arising and passing of forms.

So allow yourself to be nourished by that,

That that cannot be named,

Yet can be experienced within the framework of your own mind and body.

So allow yourself to be nourished.

And as you tap into the divine presence within,

It becomes natural and easy to recognize the divine presence in all creation,

In all things,

All people,

In nature,

In animals,

In the mountains,

And the sky,

And the ocean,

The trees,

And the flowers,

The earth,

The sun,

The stars,

Everywhere you look.

When you're fully present,

You recognize the divine presence in all creation,

And you make peace with life,

With all of life.

Peace and love become your natural state,

And there's ease and flow.

It is natural and easy to become kind and compassionate towards yourself and others.

Compassion and forgiveness are natural,

Not effortful.

When you're completely present,

You become kind to the mind,

You become kind to your own body,

You become kind in your relationships with others,

With those close to you and those who are afar,

Known and unknown,

Regardless of who they are.

Kindness is natural,

A by-product of presence,

A by-product of tuning into the infinite light and love that pervades all time and space.

Through your own stillness,

You reconnect with the source of all of life,

And allow that light to shine through you into the world,

Manifesting divine qualities into your relationships,

Into how you interact with life,

With others,

With nature.

And all it takes is simple presence with your own breath and body,

Tuning into what is happening in this very moment.

Through surrender and acceptance of this present moment exactly as it is,

The natural state of peace arises,

A state that you have access to anytime and anywhere,

No matter who you are,

Where you are,

Where you are.

Simply returning,

Returning home.

And you do that again and again,

Every time you get lost in thoughts and judgments,

Memories,

Imagination.

Return home through your own breath,

Through presence.

Your breath,

Your body are access points to divine presence,

And you carry this with you wherever you go,

No matter where you are,

You have access to this.

So cultivate presence throughout your day and night,

As many times as possible.

Whether you're working or resting,

Walking or sitting,

Interacting with others.

Continually return to the breath and body and reconnect with life again.

Breathe.

Let your natural state of peace and joy and love be the dominant state throughout life,

Throughout your day and week.

And all interactions become natural.

Compassion,

Kindness,

Forgiveness,

All become natural.

Take every opportunity to apply presence in times of ease,

In times of difficulties.

Continually return,

Return to peace.

In the depth of that peace arises gratitude and love,

Very naturally.

There's a sense of deep connection with all of life,

With others,

With nature,

With the planet,

With the stars,

With the universe.

The reality of our deep interconnectedness with each other and life emerges through mere presence.

Beyond the intellectual understanding of our interconnectedness,

You begin to really feel it within your own self,

At the depth of your being,

Beyond the mind.

You feel a deep sense of connection with all creatures,

All people,

Nature,

Stars and planets.

And you never can feel alone when you are connected with all of life.

Even when you are physically by yourself,

You can feel this deep connection.

So know that you have access to this anytime and anywhere.

And it all requires is to be returning to your breath and body,

Being fully present and alert with every cell and every atom of your body.

And noticing everything that is taking place in this present moment.

Now begin to expand your awareness beyond the boundary of your body,

Into the space you're in.

Allow that loving presence that you are right now to expand beyond the boundary of the body,

Filling the room.

Expanding beyond your room.

And allowing this loving energy to heal and bring peace to every creature,

Every sentient being,

Every atom and every cell that it comes in contact with.

Allow to expand beyond the boundary of your room and your building into the neighborhood,

Bringing peace and love.

Wishing wellness to all creatures,

All people.

May they be at peace.

May they experience freedom from suffering.

May they experience the infinite presence of love within,

As you experience it now.

Allow to expand beyond the neighborhood into the city we're in.

Healing and bringing peace and love in every corner,

In every household.

Allow to expand beyond the city into the state and expand beyond that into the country.

May all beings be well,

Happy,

At peace,

Free from suffering.

May all experience that loving presence within,

So that they can feel healed and heal their relationships with each other and the world.

Expand this loving presence beyond the country,

Across the oceans,

Into neighboring countries,

Expanding into the neighboring continents,

Filling the entire world globe,

Filling with kindness and compassion,

Healing.

May all who have suffered be healed and may all be at peace,

Free from suffering.

May this loving energy heal the hearts and minds of all people and all creatures.

Now expand this beyond our tiny blue planet into our solar system.

May all beings across the solar system,

If they exist,

Be healed,

Be at peace.

Expand beyond this into our galaxy.

May all beings throughout our galaxy,

The Milky Way,

Be at peace,

Be free from suffering.

Expand beyond the galaxy into the billions of galaxies neighboring us,

Expanding this loving kindness into the entire universe.

May all creatures and all beings in our universe be at peace.

May they be free from suffering.

Now expand into the infinite now,

Allowing yourself to rest in infinity.

Presence beyond any boundaries or borders.

In that infinite,

May all beings be at peace in the presence of the infinite love that pervades all time and space,

That all it requires is our own presence.

So may all creatures find presence so that they may be at peace.

And from there,

All interactions with life will be infused with loving kindness and peace.

Now gently return to the body.

Return to the breath.

Return to where you are,

Where you are in the space.

And just begin to sense and feel your body,

Making small movements with hands and feet.

And retain this loving presence with you,

This deep connection with all of life,

The universe,

With God,

Into the rest of your day,

Your night,

Your week.

And return again and again,

Each moment you forget,

As we do.

Lost in thought,

Very gently return to the breath and body again,

Reconnecting with life again,

Reconnecting with love,

With peace.
