How to Change Any Belief
You’re the author of your life, and your power comes from the beliefs you choose to grow through your focused attention. Your beliefs attract evidence that further reinforces them. If you wish to change the mirror that is your life, start by going within and finding the beliefs that are the seeds from which the outer manifestations you’re experiencing have grown.

Everything is always working out for your highest good.
The universe is benevolent and is always nurturing your dream.
And when you feel this truth at the core of your being,
You'll start to see the evidence appear outside of yourself.
The beliefs you hold within yourself are so powerful,
Even though our mind can't always see the connection between the beliefs that we carry within and what we manifest in the external world.
If you expect good things to happen to you,
Not only are they more likely to happen to you,
But you'll actively look for evidence that good things are happening to you.
And whatever you start to build more evidence for is what becomes your new predominant belief,
Which then affects what you attract in the outer world.
So the question for you is,
What beliefs are you carrying,
Whether consciously or unconsciously,
That are affecting what you manifest in the external world?
Because so often,
You can do all the right things.
You can be working hard,
Following your intuition,
Doing the things that scare you,
And yet somehow it feels like things in the world are not working for you,
They're not flowing,
And you don't know why.
When this happens,
It can feel like the universe is actively working against you.
But underneath that false idea is the truth that it's just some belief that you hold and you may not even realize that you're holding it,
That's giving you evidence that reinforces what you already believe to be true.
So once you bring awareness to the beliefs that you hold,
Then you can change them.
And when you change them,
Everything in your external world shifts.
So the question is,
How do you know what beliefs you're holding?
Well,
You can look at the area of your life where you feel the most energy at this moment.
What is the thing that you desire the most?
And also,
What is the area of your life where you feel like you're being blocked,
Where it feels like somehow you can't quite get the solution or change that you desire?
And very often,
These will be the same thing.
So whatever you most desire is an area of your life where you may also feel the most blocked or blocked,
And you don't know why.
So what you can do is start there and then write out a list of all the potential beliefs that if they were true,
They would lead to the manifestation of the life circumstances you're experiencing now.
So for example,
If you were to carry a belief that it's hard to make a living by sharing my art,
If that belief were true,
Would that lead to the experience you're currently experiencing in your external world?
And I do this not to grow the negative,
Of course,
We don't want to grow the negative,
But we have to first bring awareness to what limiting beliefs you may be temporarily carrying.
Because once you see that you have a negative belief or a limiting belief,
Even if it's unconscious,
And you see that the evidence of it is manifesting in your external world,
Then you realize you can change it.
You can rewrite the story.
So once you find that negative belief,
You can write the opposite.
You can write an empowering belief that proves that limiting belief wrong.
You can say,
My art is loved by so many,
And people value my art and are willing to pay huge amounts for it.
And if you're coming from that limiting belief,
This idea may not feel true only because you've gathered so much evidence saying the opposite.
But once you've written that new belief that you want to embody,
You can start to actively look for evidence where your art is valued and appreciated by others.
And if you look for it,
You'll find it.
Maybe someone will buy your art if you sell it,
Or if that doesn't happen immediately,
Maybe you'll start to pay greater attention to when someone gives a genuine heartfelt compliment to something that you've created.
And in your mind,
You're thinking,
Oh,
That's evidence that people do value my art,
That people are willing to pay for my art,
That my art is valuable to the world.
And whenever you start looking for evidence in either direction,
Positive or negative,
You'll find it.
Because there's practically or essentially an unlimited amount of evidence in the world to feed almost any belief you can carry.
So for someone that has always had the belief that their art is valuable,
And they've never once doubted it,
To them that's normal.
It's normal that their art is highly valued and appreciated by others.
They've always believed that.
That's a belief that they carry.
They may even carry it subconsciously or unconsciously if they've had it for their whole life.
But to them,
The opposite seems preposterous.
To that person,
The idea that their art doesn't have value just seems so not true that they would never take on any of that evidence because they have so much evidence saying the opposite.
So once you start looking for new evidence that confirms the beliefs you want to embody,
That you want to believe are true,
They literally become true for you.
In other words,
You get what you expect.
And this is why there's a famous quote or a similar version of it often repeated,
Which is you're the author of your life story,
Or you're the director of your life.
It all starts from within,
And more specifically,
It starts with the beliefs you carry about how your world works.
And we can see this clearly on social media with different algorithms.
We've all,
Or most of us,
I think,
Have heard of the word the echo chamber,
Where we're essentially fed back information that reinforces our beliefs.
And the way these algorithms work is if you spend time engaging with a specific type of content or liking certain content and not other content,
It'll just feed you more content that it thinks you'll like.
And in a lot of ways,
It's similar with your beliefs.
If you expect certain things to be true,
The world will give you more things that match what you expect,
More things that you focus your attention on,
That you essentially like by thinking about it or focusing on it or taking it on as evidence,
Will then be fed back to you in different ways.
So your power lies not in trying to change the manifestations in the external world,
But instead by looking within yourself and trying to uncover those beliefs that you hold.
Because from the universe's perspective,
What's loved you unconditionally,
It doesn't see beliefs as good or bad.
Whatever belief you carry is what evidence you'll then attract.
So it's up to you to say,
Okay,
What beliefs do I carry now?
Maybe some of them I learned from growing up through witnessing society.
And then you get to decide which beliefs you want to keep and which beliefs you want to shift.
Because there are probably a lot of beliefs that you don't want to get rid of,
You don't want to change.
You may believe that ultimately around the world,
Almost all the people you meet are kind and you just see kind people wherever you go.
And let's say you travel a lot and you always seem to attract wonderful people.
Well,
There's no reason to change that belief.
That's a beautiful belief.
But then going back to the example of,
Let's say you have this belief that it's hard to make a living from your art.
That may be a belief that you want to shift or change.
So ultimately,
You get to have that power of which to change and which to keep.
And the easiest way to change a belief is to identify the current belief that you have in a certain area of your life.
And then to write out the new belief that you want to adopt,
Which is very often the opposite of the one that you don't want anymore.
And then you look for new evidence to support your new belief.
And you also,
And this is the hardest part,
But the most important part,
Is stop feeding the evidence that seems to support your old belief.
So you want to be focusing more on the evidence that proves your new belief is true without getting caught up in the old stories that are just different evidence in the world saying that your old belief is true.
Because eventually the scales will tip.
Eventually you'll start to attract and manifest more evidence that proves your new belief is true.
But if you've been holding onto and carrying an old belief for a long time,
It may be hard not to believe all this evidence that you've attracted into your life.
Because you're fighting against an old story.
And so my biggest tip when you're changing one of these beliefs is instead of focusing all your energy on trying to fight the old belief or fight the old story,
Focus on nurturing the new story.
Let your past be your past.
Let the beliefs that you've held up until now be beliefs in your past if you don't want them anymore.
And make an agreement with yourself that from this point forward,
I'm going to feed a new story.
I'm going to feed a new belief.
I expect good things to happen to me.
I expect to find people who value my art.
And I expect to be validated by the world that my art is needed and provides love and beauty to those who need it.
And you expect people to pay you a lot for your art.
Because your art is valuable,
So of course they would pay for it.
And it's by feeding this new belief and not trying to go back in time and rewrite an old story or revisit an old story for a hundred times to try and change things,
But instead to focus on growing and nurturing this new belief,
Just like watering a new plant in your garden,
That it will begin to grow.
And then soon it'll grow so big that you'll forget that you ever had a limiting version of that belief in the past.
So that's it.
I hope that was helpful for you.
I'm sending you lots of love and I hope you have a wonderful day.
