Most of the time my channel to source is wide open. If it's music that wants to come through, I've learned to drop what I am doing and be what I call a "muse midwife". I was working on some music for an ad for a client and this beautiful little guitar line came through. Somewhere in there, the seed of making this little 40-second guitar track more than a melody started to grow. I love fractal patterns in nature, but I hadn't played with using the idea of using self-similar music in different sizes. I stretched the orginal guitar line to many times it's original length which became the main part that sounds like chanting. The orginal guitar part is in there (slower/longer every time you hear it) along with binaural beats complimenting the tonality of the key of A to complete the super relaxing feeling. Headphones recommended.
