Hello and welcome to a springtime meditation.
My name is Megan Adair and I'm so delighted you're joining me.
If it feels good,
Feel free to drop all of your walls and your barriers.
Expand your energy out in all directions and allow yourself to receive from the earth,
From the sun,
And allow yourself to tap into the space where this meditation was recorded,
Which is outside in the woods amidst countless trees with the sun shining down right by a stream.
The earth is such an impeccable source of renewal,
Of space,
Of joy,
Of possibility.
So I invite you to get comfortable.
Allow your body to be in a place of rest.
Allow yourself to receive all of you and all that the earth and the sun have to gift you in this moment.
And take a few moments now to check in with your body,
To include your body in your awareness,
And to check in with your feet,
With your legs,
The bowl of your pelvis.
Check in with your stomach,
With the core of your body,
With your heart,
With your neck and your face,
With your brain.
Check in with your gut and also with your entire back body.
And as you're checking in with all of the places in your body,
Take note of any communication of any signals,
Any tingles,
Any pain,
Any expansiveness.
And invite in the energy of spring,
The season of awakening,
This season of renewal.
And fill your lungs up with air.
And open your mouth and release it.
Take another deep inhale through your nose.
Open your mouth side out.
Another deep inhale,
Exhaling mouth.
And one final time and letting it go.
And begin to tune in with and receive from spring,
Allowing the energy of this season to enliven and awaken you.
Invite spring and its energy into all of the cells of your body.
Invite this energy into all of your subtle bodies,
Into your being.
I invite you,
As you're welcoming in this energy,
To feel into the space between all of your molecules,
Expanding into that space and inviting the energy of spring there into all of the space in between.
Knowing that in much of the world the ice is melting,
As the days grow longer,
Water is flowing,
Birds are singing,
And each day there's a little more sunlight.
And as you've moved through this particular winter,
What in you is beginning to awaken?
What transformation under the surface is beginning to find its way into your awareness?
What in your body is enlivening?
What is your body asking for in this space of springtime?
And acknowledging any awarenesses that have presented themselves.
Invite the energy of the sun.
Invite this gentle enlivening fire into your belly.
Invite it into your bones.
Invite this solar energy throughout your body and your life.
Where is the sun giving you life?
Where is the sun inviting you to wake up?
What joy is being birthed in you?
What possibilities?
Receive the energy of the sun.
Receive the awakening earth and receive your awakening life.
Where are you asking for more?
Where are you having more?
And what joy is asking to be enjoyed?
What within you is melting?
What softening?
And where is flow re-engaging you?
Take a juicy moment of gratitude,
Basking in the light of thankfulness and all that it creates.
Fill yourself up with gratitude.
Drinking down the energy of thanks and letting it feed you and your body.
Letting it feed your universe.
Begin to bring awareness into your fingers and your toes,
Allowing some gentle movement in your body.
And take your time in moving back into wakefulness,
Back into your day,
Waking into spring.
