Let's start by saying hello to yourself.
Maybe it's been a while.
Take a deep breath in,
And on your exhale,
Just be here now.
Let the day fade away.
You are here,
And you are exactly where you need to be.
Finding a comfortable seat,
Focusing in on your breath as it enters,
And as it exits the body.
Notice the breath as it comes in,
And simply notice the breath as it travels back out.
I want to activate a part of you that lives inside of you,
That is waiting in the wings.
There's always a soulful urge that's standing right behind you,
Or it's living in your heart.
But maybe you pushed it away.
Maybe you got distracted by your children,
Or by your illness,
Or by one of your family's illness.
Distracted with work and the pile of to-dos.
Let's slow it down now.
We are going to slow down time,
Breathing naturally in your own rhythm.
Just put your awareness on you,
Sitting in this moment,
Accepting exactly what is.
There's only the sensation of surrender when we enter meditation,
Because we're deliberately saying to ourselves,
Stop,
Close your eyes.
It's time to go in.
And in these moments,
We are in the command position.
We have the ability to be in charge.
You can say to yourself,
My soul is in charge right now.
And to my left in my imaginary seat,
I put my mind,
My ego,
My thoughts,
And I ask them to please sit down.
And I return to my aware self,
Who is sitting in this moment,
And I activate consciously the power of my soul to become fully present.
Take a deep breath in.
Hold it at the top.
And when you're ready,
Breathe out presence.
Feel yourself fill up the space around you,
Fill up your entire aura,
Extend your energy field and give yourself permission to get a little bit bigger,
Permission to get a little bit taller.
And as your body further relaxes and deepens into a softening where all muscles release,
Tensions and shoulders drop,
Abdomen releases,
Jaw softly opens,
Tongue falls away from the roof of the mouth,
Forehead muscles smooth,
Eyelids rest,
Mind opens and expands.
Keeping this slow breathing pace,
Imagine that your entire body and what surrounds you resonate in one same healing frequency.
You are now seated in the position of awareness and awareness has no effort.
It simply has the gift of observation.
You are at your disposition to recreate your reality from the power of your mind.
Feel how the air that slowly comes in will work as inspiration and fuel to make a clear,
Pure image of your future self,
The self that is really your soul's purpose for reincarnating to earth.
Begin to bring your attention to your third eye,
The space between your eyes,
The center of your forehead.
Imagine that there is a light right between your eyes.
Your color is the light.
Picture the light as a bright beam that extends out into space.
To start your journey,
Follow that beam as you begin to travel upwards into the sky.
As you shoot further into outer space,
Take a moment to notice the beauty of the earth below,
The crystal blue ocean,
The clouds.
Allow yourself to enjoy this perspective for a moment.
As you continue to travel even higher,
Above the clouds,
Into outer space,
Surrounded by the stars,
The moon.
Now notice another beam of light very close to you,
A different color from the one you followed into space.
Begin now to follow that beam back down to earth.
As you step on and you make your way back down,
Objects begin to become more clear the closer and closer you get.
You arrive in a neighborhood that seems so familiar.
As you look around at all the beautiful homes,
One stands out to you the most.
It brings a smile to your face and a warmth to your heart.
You slowly begin to approach the home that is drawing you in.
You notice the color,
The materials used to build this home.
And as you get closer,
Passing the beautiful walkway,
Approaching the front entrance,
You note the shape and texture of the door before you.
You open the door to see a beautiful person standing inside.
It's your future self,
10 years from now.
They don't notice you yet.
They are deep in their element,
But you take in their presence.
You observe them.
How do they look?
What are they wearing?
Is there a smile on their face?
Are they laughing or are they at peace?
Who are they with?
What are they doing?
You take a look around the house.
What's on the walls?
What kind of place is it?
What energy does it have?
What kind of feeling is there inside the walls?
Is there a pleasant aroma,
Maybe a candle or a wonderful meal that fills the space?
They finally catch you standing at the door and their face brightens.
Their shoulders drop.
You're so relaxed you're here.
They wave you in and as they sit down on a couch,
They signal for you to join them.
You can tell they are eager to speak to you,
But they need to know why you're here.
You sit next to them and you ask,
What is it that you are doing now in life?
And listen to their response.
You ask them,
What do I need to do or know to get me from where I am to where you are?
And then listen.
They might answer you in words or an expression.
They may answer you with a feeling or an image.
And now ask anything that is on your heart,
If it's a current challenge or struggle.
Anything that may be hurting or worrying you.
Ask them,
How did you overcome this challenge or heartache?
And listen to their wisdom.
Listen to what they say.
Finally you ask them,
What is our purpose?
How do we find true fulfillment?
You thank them.
Before you go,
They walk over to a corner of the room and pick up a delicate box.
As they turn around and walk back towards you,
They look up with a smile on their face.
Then they walk you to the door and they hand you the box.
They tell you that they have been waiting to give this to you.
For you to come home,
To visit,
To connect.
They're so happy you found them.
They give you a huge warm hug,
The kind you receive from a friend you haven't seen in years.
And they say,
I have been saving this box with a very important message for you for this exact moment.
You take the box in your hands,
Admiring how beautiful and exquisite this box is.
As you begin to open it,
You notice a small folded piece of paper inside.
You take it out.
You start to unfold it.
You realize that this message is the exact message you needed to know right now.
It gives you direction and clarity on what your soul's purpose is.
What does it say?
You take a deep breath in and a slow breath out.
And you thank them for their guidance,
Their wisdom,
Their strength,
And their power.
What else do you want to tell your future self before you say goodbye?
And you start to walk out the door.
You wave goodbye.
You leave with the knowing now of how to get back home and that you can come back and visit at any time.
Take a deep breath,
Breathing in this experience,
Remembering what you need to remember.
Now find your way back up the beam of light that brought you here.
Journey back up the beam,
Watching this world of 10 years in the future grow smaller and smaller and smaller as you move out into space.
As you ascend up once more,
You look down and see a ball of blue and green below you,
Clouds swirling around.
Notice your beam starts to merge with a different beam of light that will bring you back to this year and this location.
Follow this beam of light back to the present time on earth.
As you travel down this beam,
You notice the earth growing bigger and bigger and bigger.
Looking further down the beam,
The geography of the area becomes clear.
Finally,
Come back to exactly where you are right now.
I am going to count from three to one.
When I count to one,
You will be refreshed and ready to remember everything about your and our journey.
Three,
Coming back to the present time,
Feeling more alert.
Two,
Stretching your body,
Feeling grounded with the ground beneath you.
One,
Opening your eyes,
Refreshed and alert.
