All at once I felt hopeless,

Dripping with tears down every part of me,

Feeling as if nothing,

Nothing was going to stop the madness swirling within me and around me.

All at once it rushed upon me as if a giant fire purging from the center of the earth.

Hopeless,

I didn't even know how to control the raging waters of lava within,

Flowing,

Coming out with hurtful words,

Purging from within me to those around me,

Those that I loved and myself,

Whatever love in that moment that I had mustered in previous days,

Months and years was ruptured slightly,

Ever so slightly.

Hopelessness has a funny way of sneaking up on me.

It doesn't always come when I expect it.

It usually sneaks up when I am least expecting it.

It is usually when I have been pushing down and trying to not pay attention to the things that are overwhelming me about life and about my life and the lives around me.

From the dawn,

This beautiful light within begins to arise,

The shadows lift as this light begins to creep upward into the sky of me,

Breathing,

Awakening,

With the pulsing smooth and cool warmth of that light reaching.

The tears,

The dew within me that has arisen releases,

Cools,

Softens.

The dew from within me,

The tears begin to evaporate,

To dry,

Embedded within me yet as beautiful,

Sparkly love.

The sun warms them,

Each and every one of those tears of hopelessness.

The plants begin to arise and flourish forward and upward,

Furling out into a beautiful flowery display as the light comes in.

What I do know is that from the darkness and shadow of hopelessness,

A new day and a new opportunity is within you,

Ready to shine and to burst forth.

That these little flowers that need that water of your tears,

That need the light,

That need that little glimmer of hope.

They do not need mounds upon mounds of gratitude practices.

They do not need perfection.

They need a little glimmer of hope,

A little crack in the doorway so that the light can come in.

These flowers are within you,

Birthing deep from your core.

They desire to bloom.

They desire to bloom just within as well as without.

They desire to bloom within as well as around you.

As that little glimmer of hope shines forth in the new day,

Or it shines forth from the hug or embrace of a friend,

A divinely timed conversation,

Or a bird in the sky,

A message of hope,

Let it rush in to you whenever it comes,

Accept it,

Welcome it,

Embrace it,

So that what is meant for you begins to bloom.

It is possible.

I have seen it,

And so will you.

But it blooms within,

Just from this teeny little spark of hope.

It can also start to bloom around you.

The call that you had been trying to make suddenly goes through easily,

Without any problem.

The project that you were working on,

Suddenly there's creativity and possibility so that you can move forward.

The clarity that you've been looking for,

Searching for desperately,

Hopelessly awaiting,

Confused,

Questioning,

Thinking,

Asking.

This glimmer of hope,

Now,

Clarity arises so clear,

Clear and sweet and beautiful just for you.

As I allowed this glimmer of hope to be present,

Before I even opened my eyes,

I said to myself,

Today is a new day.

As I opened my eyes,

I let in the sunlight that was creeping through the window,

Just at the break of dawn.

I let in what it was that I needed in that moment,

To lay in the bed just a little longer,

To commune with the divine of my soul.

From there,

I smiled as I kept saying to myself,

Today is a new day.

Today is a new day.

Allow the little crack to open within any bits of hopelessness you feel.

I am with you and rooting for you.

To grow your roots deeply,

Allow those seeds to be planted so that as that little glimmer of hope cracks open,

That the light of hope shines forth onto those seeds and you bloom.

It is meant for you to bloom today.

To have ease,

Even if people among you say things like,

Oh,

It's impossible,

It's hard,

It's difficult.

You are meant to experience the clarity and the ease of all the situations that have plagued you,

That have questioned you,

That have almost broken you.

And so it is,

As we align with the core.

I am grateful to sit and be with this hopelessness for a while...because it is very old and I always tried to ignore or supress it. It is a relief to bring light to this aspect of me. Thank you!🙏☀️💚❤️
