It didn't work.

The heartache.

The stomachache.

The shattered pieces of you.

I know it.

I feel it.

I've been there too.

It hurts.

It aches.

Then it goes away.

I promise.

It's okay.

I'm down.

I reach up to the sun in the sky.

It's warm.

There's hope.

I inhale.

I cope.

I sigh.

I get up.

I live another day.

And a day.

And a day.

I'm okay.
