Let's begin by sitting comfortably in a chair with your feet grounded into the floor.
Feel yourself supported by the seat with your root chakra,
The place where your tailbone meets the seat,
Grounding down,
Down through your legs,
Down through your feet,
And right down,
Connecting to the foundation of the Earth's energy.
And from this place of solid support,
Begin to steadily flow your breath upward,
Through your feet,
Up through your legs,
Through your solar plexus,
Up through your heart,
Up through your throat,
Up through your third eye,
And right up through your head into Spirit.
And then from this place of Spirit,
Bringing the energy back down through all of your energy centers,
And grounding down even more into the chair and into the Earth.
Continuing this flow of gentle,
Steady breathing.
Full,
Deep breaths.
Gentle,
Steady flow.
And with each breath,
Relax even more deeply into your being.
And if there's any area in your body that feels tense or stuck,
Breathing a little bit more deeply into this space,
Expanding and softening.
And now in your mind's eye,
Envision yourself in your most powerful form.
See yourself in a place that is beautiful.
Notice all of the details around you.
And noticing all of the details of your empowered presence.
Allowing yourself to fully embrace this vision,
And feel how good it feels.
Once you have a strong sense of your empowered being,
Envision yourself in this form,
Engaging in an experience of pure joy.
Recall a time when you felt this joyful.
Imagining what it is that you were doing,
Feeling all of the sensations in your body.
Deeply feel into this experience of joy,
And fully embrace the delight that is available in this space.
And as you relax more fully into this elation,
Go into the body of your empowered self,
And reach inward,
Bringing the joy outside of you,
So that you are facing it,
And you can see it clearly in whatever form it appears.
And as you're facing the joy,
Ask it,
What do you have to share with me?
Allowing the first answers says your truth.
What do you have to share with me?
And then ask the joy,
What do you need in order to grow?
Allowing the first answer as your truth.
What do you need in order to grow?
And now looking out at the joy,
And embracing the answers.
Take the joy into your arms,
Holding it so close that you bring it back into yourself.
The two of you,
One supreme being.
And allow yourself to feel how good this feels to hold joy inwardly,
To love it,
And to let it nourish you.
And allow yourself to rest peacefully in this space of wholeness.
And now take a few more deep,
Full,
Cleansing breaths.
Feeling your energy joyfully flowing.
And knowing that in your day-to-day routine,
You can connect with this experience of joy any time you need.
It's always there.
It's that simple.
And when you feel complete,
Begin to bring your awareness back to your body.
Keeping your eyes soft,
Bring your awareness back to the room you're in.
And slowly,
When you open your eyes,
Feeling alert,
Refreshed,
And empowered.
