Station Of Solitude

You're proud of the work you do on the space station, but sometimes you need some time alone to unwind. Behind the hydroponics lab is an enclosed area with one of the few windows on board. With slow careful movements, you can orient yourself so you remain floating, facing the enormous vista outside. The sounds of the ship fade into the background as you contemplate the vastness of the space surrounding your tiny craft.

I have never been on the space station, nor has it ever been a dream of mine (although it is fascinating to me) but this certainly seemed like a good description of this piece. I felt the weightlessness. I felt the sense of being in outer space. The repetitiveness of this was so spot on, it was gentle and I was easily led to stillness and inside my being. I floated through this with no distractions, lost in my own space. Thanks for sharing this. It’s truly a beautiful piece. 🙏🏻💗
