Unexpected Sunrise

Sometimes you see the sunrise not by waking, but by staying the course of the night before. The effect can be jarring as if this sunrise has not been earned, as if it is stolen from the next day. But this borrowed time is itself an affirmation, and this stolen sunrise is as nourishing as any other.
