The Magical Feline Temple: Cozy Fantasy Bedtime Tale
by Dan Jones
This is a cozy fantasy slow living bedtime story about you as a writer on a journey on a sleeper train in search of the ruins of a feline temple. You learn in the temple ruins about a ritual. It happened when the moon was in the right position in the sky that it reflected its light through a Lunar Aperture into a chamber, illuminating and giving energy to fungus in that chamber. The fungus would release spores which would temporarily alter the consciousness of bonded cats and people, allowing them to swap consciousness for a period of time. You head back to the hotel, meeting a cat which seems to want to bond with you. You continue writing through the night and the next day, you make your journey home, taking the cat home with you. Once home, you have something to eat, make up a space for the cat, and name the cat Lunar before you head to bed, drifting and floating peacefully asleep into Slumberland.
