Welcome to your bedtime meditation.
I hope you're all ready for bed and lying down somewhere comfy.
Please make sure your lights are dimmed or turned off so after this meditation you can drift off to sleep.
Now close down your eyes,
Stay still and relax into this calming space.
As you're slowly being in bed still,
Your body is getting rest,
So don't panic about getting to sleep,
Just lying here in this calming space,
You are getting rest.
Whatever has happened today has happened,
You're exactly where you're supposed to be.
Taking a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth,
Letting go of any tension or stress you may be holding,
Inhale,
Exhale release it out,
Now begin to breathe normally,
Letting your inhale and exhale guide you into a deeply relaxed state.
We're going to begin by letting go of everything that no longer serves you,
Inhale think let,
Exhale think go,
Starting at your head,
Relaxing your head and neck,
Releasing the tension in your face and jaw,
Relaxing your shoulders and arms,
Relaxing your hands and the grip of your fingers,
Relaxing your belly,
Relaxing your hips and thighs,
Relaxing the knees in the back of your knees,
Relaxing your lower legs,
Relaxing your ankles,
Relaxing your feet and finally to the tips of your toes,
Relaxing your body down heavy on the earth.
I will leave you now to continue falling into deep relaxation,
Simply be still,
Breathe and listen to the music,
When the music ends just remove your headphones and come back into this calm space to drift off to sleep,
