In this meditation, you'll be guided through a short, 10-minute gratitude experience to share with your partner. There will be gentle interaction, so find a space where you can comfortably face each other and speak. Music by Chris Collins.

Take a moment to find a comfortable position where you're facing each other.

Once you're feeling comfortable,

Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.

And let's take one breath together to settle into this space.

Inhale gently,

Exhale softly.

Invite any points of tension in your body to soften.

We'll start our gratitude practice today by closing your eyes and reflecting on your partner's presence in your life.

Picture them clearly in your mind.

Picture them happy,

At peace.

Think about a memory when they did something that really warmed your heart.

Reflect on the positive impact they've had on your life.

What about your partner are you really grateful for?

Next,

You'll each take turns sharing gratitude.

One of you will take two minutes to speak from your heart and share the things that you are genuinely grateful for in your partner.

Do your best to be specific and allow yourself to share things big and small.

And while one of you shares gratitude,

The other will receive it.

Do your best to be present and take in your partner's expression of appreciation and gratitude for you without responding or interrupting.

I will ring the bell when the two minutes have passed so you can switch roles.

Now take a moment to decide on who will share first.

Take a moment to think about what you want to share and whenever you're ready,

You can begin.

Now it's your turn to share gratitude for your partner.
