Transcript

Begin by finding a quiet space where you can sit comfortably.

Close your eyes and place your hands on your lap or by your sides.

Palms facing upward as a gesture of openness.

Take a deep breath in and as you exhale let go of any tension in your body.

Allow yourself to arrive fully in this moment,

Open to what it has to offer.

Start by bringing your attention to your breath.

Inhale deeply through your nose,

Feeling the cool air filling your lungs.

Exhale gently through your mouth,

Letting go of any stress or tension.

Focus on natural rhythm of your breath.

Each inhale is a moment of renewal,

Each exhale a moment of release.

As you settle into this rhythm,

Imagine yourself as a tree.

Feel your feet or body connected to the ground like roots anchoring you into the earth.

Your breath is the wind gently moving through your branches.

Trees like us experience all seasons of life.

Spring's growth,

Summer's abundance,

Autumn's shedding,

And winter's rest.

Each season brings change but the tree remains grounded,

Always adapting to what nature brings.

Now imagine yourself standing by a river.

This river represents change.

It is always flowing,

Sometimes fast,

Sometimes slow,

But never stopping.

The water carries with it moments of joy,

Sorrow,

Uncertainty,

And growth.

You stand by its edge,

Observing the flow.

You realize that you cannot stop the river but you can choose how to interact with it.

As you watch the water,

Imagine letting go of the desire to control its course.

Visualize stepping into the river with trust,

Allowing yourself to float with its current,

Knowing it will guide you exactly where you need to go and where you need to be.

You may not know what's around each bend but the river flows with purpose.

Trusting the river means trusting life's natural course.

In moments of change,

Remind yourself that,

Like this river,

Life moves forward.

Resistance creates struggle but acceptance brings peace.

By surrendering to the flow,

You'll find ease and strength within the movement.

Gently take a deep breath in,

Feeling the ease of acceptance settle into your body.

As you exhale,

Release any lingering resistance to change.

Now silently repeat the following affirmation.

I flow with the changes of life.

I trust each moment brings me closer to growth,

Peace,

And transformation.

Feel the truth of this affirmation in your heart,

Letting it anchor you in the present moment.

Slowly bring your awareness back to your body.

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes and take one final deep breath.

When you are ready,

You can open your eyes,

Carrying with you a sense of calm and trust in the flow of change.
