"Lectio Divina" (Latin for "Divine Reading") is a traditional monastic practice of scriptural reading, meditation, and prayer intended to promote communion with God and to increase the knowledge of God's word. A section of scripture is read then there is silence allowing for contemplation on what was just heard. This guided meditation is based on Jesus' Resurrection, found in Matthew 28:1-6a.
