This guided meditation invites you to practise kindness towards yourself through the gentle rhythm of the breath. As you breathe in, you are guided to draw in a sense of kindness and care; as you breathe out, you allow that kindness to ripple softly throughout your whole body. The practice supports slowing down, settling the nervous system, and cultivating a warm, compassionate presence towards yourself, moment by moment.

Kindness to self using the breath.

Rest your awareness on the feelings of your breath.

Breath coming in.

Now imagine that the air all around you is full with kindness.

So when you breathe in you breathe in kindness and when you breathe out that kindness is rippling right throughout your body.

Now for a few minutes you carry on with this meditation on your own,

Using the breath,

Breathing in kindness and breathing kindness throughout your whole body as you breathe out.

And at the end,

Broaden your awareness to the whole of your body and sounds and then open your eyes.
