Today,
We're going to take one of my favorite breaths to help you get back into your body to relax and reset.
Find a comfortable place.
You can sit down,
Lie down,
Whatever feels good for you today.
Begin to close your eyes.
Or soften your gaze.
Begin to relax your forehead.
Release your jaw.
Relax your tongue away from the roof of your mouth if you happen to find it there.
Relax your neck,
Maybe move it around if that feels good.
Release your shoulders.
Relax your arms,
Your hands,
Your fingers.
Release your belly.
Taking a moment to notice how your hips are grounding down into your seat or into the floor.
Relaxing your legs.
Ankles,
Your feet,
Your toes.
Releasing any tension that you still might find in your body.
Taking a moment to check in with yourself and noticing how you feel today.
Physically.
Mentally,
Emotionally,
Spiritually,
All the leaves,
And not judging what you find,
But just taking a moment to notice.
How are you?
Really.
Taking a moment to notice how your breath feels.
And noticing where in your body you feel your breath.
We'll take a big clearing breath together,
Big inhale through your nose.
Big exhale out of your mouth.
You can gently bring one hand to your chest.
Now on your next inhale,
See if you can expand your chest into your palm.
Big inhale through your nose.
Big exhale.
Big inhale through your nose,
Filling up your chest into your palm.
Nice,
Slow,
Luxurious exhale.
One more big breath here.
Nice,
Low exhale.
And then taking that hand and moving it down towards the bottom of your ribs on your diaphragm.
Big inhale through your nose.
Try to expand your chest and then the bottom of those ribs into your palm.
Big inhale.
And nice and slow,
Exhale,
Squeezing all that air out.
Inhale through your nose,
Expanding that diaphragm into your palm.
Nice,
Slow exhale.
One more big breath here.
Really slow,
Luxurious exhale.
And you can take your hand or your hands and move them to the bottom of your belly,
Right beneath your belly button.
And on your next inhale,
I want you to inhale through your nose,
Expand your chest,
Expand that diaphragm,
And expand your belly like you're filling up a big balloon.
Big inhale through your nose.
Nice,
Really slow exhale,
Squeezing all that air out.
Four more big breaths like that at your own pace.
Inhaling through your nose,
Expanding your chest,
Your ribs,
And your belly into your palms.
Nice low luxurious exhales.
Last two big breaths.
And then on your last inhale,
Biggest breath you'll take all day.
Big inhale,
Expand your chest,
Expand that diaphragm,
Expand your belly,
And then pause at the top.
See if you can sip in just a little bit more air.
And then a really big,
Slow exhale,
Squeezing all of that stale air out.
Big inhale through your nose.
Big exhale,
You can sigh it out of your mouth.
Taking a moment to allow your breath to return to normal.
And think of something or somebody that you are so grateful for today.
And allowing that gratitude to fill you.
Relaxing your forehead,
Releasing your jaw.
And whenever you're ready,
You can gently blink open your eyes and come back into space.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to pause and pour into yourself,
Filling your cup.
I'll see you next time,
Or I guess hear you next time.
Have a beautiful day.
