Today's practice is an invitation to shift your internal calibration through rest.
An opportunity to deeply listen and reset.
For this practice,
I want us to reflect on our hopes and desires that seem almost too wild to claim.
The ideas that are outside of our current identities.
The thought of them brings both intrigue and discomfort.
What's under this intrigue is purpose.
What's under.
The discomfort is fear.
That tension is often a guiding light for where we are meant to grow.
This fear is almost like a fog that limits our ability to see what's possible for ourselves.
Keeping us stuck in old identities that are not aligned with our purpose.
It leaves us walking down the same road we've always known.
Making us believe that it is wrong to pivot.
This path can shape what we allow ourselves to experience in this lifetime.
However,
These paths of identity are simply constructs,
And some of them could be teaching us to fear our own desires.
In this practice,
We intentionally create space to reconnect with the self.
The self with a capital S.
The part of you that isn't shaped by fear.
But by true self-love and acceptance.
The part of you that trusts yourself enough.
To become who you were always meant to be.
Using the beauty of nature to guide us there.
Start to settle in.
There is nothing you need to do,
But relax into your own deep presence.
Begin your journey.
Bye.
Becoming as relaxed as possible.
Settle into a cozy,
Warm,
And comfortable.
Yes.
Melt your body.
Onto the surface you rest upon.
Release any tension.
Surrender the mental debris.
Nestle into yourself as your body prepares for rest.
Close your eyes.
Welcome the darkness around you.
Notice the subtleties in your breathing.
Exhale into a pause.
Taking in the stillness.
This beautiful gift.
That is always available to you.
Gradually slowing down the breath.
And letting everything external melt away.
Experiencing the rise and fall of your breath.
And settle into its natural rhythm.
If it feels comfortable,
I invite you to take two sniffs of air in through the nose.
And let out an audible sigh.
Release any tension with this side as you do this two more times.
Feel your body help.
As you think deeper.
Feel the support of the Earth underneath you.
Allow space for gratitude.
Acknowledging this gift of rest you chose for yourself today.
Let your nervous system be cradled and nourished by the practice of Yoga Nidra.
With this support,
Is there anything else you can let go of that you are holding onto?
What can be released that isn't supporting you?
Relax your muscles and bones.
Releasing any tension in the body.
Or locks any place that you might be.
Unconsciously squeezing or holding tension.
Imagine you can send this part of your body love.
As you continue to completely let go.
Bring attention to your senses.
Noticing.
Subtle taste in your mouth.
Perhaps there are some sounds in the distance.
That you can hear.
Maybe sounds that are even close the smells.
Around you.
Perhaps.
Your eyelids show flickers of light or colors.
Even the gentle caressing of the air on your skin.
Is something you can feel.
Let your senses be open to receive.
Your environment.
Let your senses.
Experience your humanness.
Now begin to allow.
The outward awareness to shift and move.
Consciously inhabiting.
All of your body's inner landscape.
What all can be felt there.
Release even more,
Layer by layer.
As your body,
Mind and spirit.
Nourished by this gift of rest.
Layer by layer.
And folding into your heart space.
And allowing.
Your Sankalpa or intention to emerge.
Your Sankoba or heart's desire.
Will be spoken in the positive.
As if it's already happening.
I create a purposeful life with deep presence,
Resource in my authority,
Dharma,
And unwavering confidence in who I am meant to be.
Drop into the frequency.
Of what that Tzenkopa feels like in your body.
Continue to feel the sensation.
As a form of energy to each point of your body.
That I will need.
Moving point to point,
Allow your awareness to focus on each part of the body.
This energy.
Sensation,
This frequency.
Feel it at each point.
Beginning on the right side of the body.
Feel sensation of energy.
In the right hand thumb.
Second finger.
Third finger fourth finger.
The pinky finger.
Experience and sensation.
In the palm of the right hand.
The back of the head.
Middle of the forest.
Lower arms.
Powerball.
Bruh.
Shoulder joint.
Armpit.
Right side of the chest.
Heart center.
The sensation slowly travels down to the right side of the waist.
Right hip.
Ankle.
Top of the foot.
So love the foot.
Feel the energy in the right big toe.
So I can tell.
Third jaw.
Porto.
Pinky toe.
Allow the sensation of energy.
To light up the entire right side of the body.
The whole right side of the body.
Alive with sensations.
Take your time to float your awareness of this sensation.
To the left side of the body.
Feel it in the left hand.
Second finger third finger.
Fourth finger.
Pinky finger.
Feel it travel.
To the inside of the palm of the left hand.
Back of the head.
Middle of thirst.
Lower arm.
Album.
Shoulder joints.
Armpit.
Left side of the chest.
Heart center.
Feel the sensation of energy.
Traveling down to the left side of the waist.
Left hip.
Ankle.
Top of the foot.
So we'll lock the foot.
Feeling the left big toe.
So I can tell.
Through 12.
Puerto Rico.
Pinky toe.
Experience the sensations.
Light up the entire left side of the body.
Feeling this aliveness.
And the entire left side.
Feel the whole left side.
And the right side.
Simultaneously.
Feel both sides together.
Now feel the right foot.
The left foot.
The right leg.
Left leg right hip.
Love it.
Lower back.
Middle back.
Right arm,
Left arm.
The right shoulder blade back of the neck.
Back of the head.
Top of the head.
The forehead.
Right eye.
Left eye.
The mind's eye center between the eyes.
Right temple.
The left temple.
The right ear.
The left ear.
Experience the sensation of energy between the ears.
The right nostril.
The left nostril.
The algorithm.
The lower lip.
Tip of the tongue.
Base of the dome.
Right side of the jaw.
Left side of the jaw.
Center of the throat heart center.
The solar plexus.
The navel center.
The root center.
The whole body right side left side.
In front of the body.
Now feel the whole body together.
Light up with.
Sensations.
Allow yourself to effortlessly breathe.
Feel the gentle rise and fall of the breath.
Now begin to feel the sensation of breath moving down.
And through the right nostril.
And breathing out.
Just through the right nostril.
Just holding awareness of the breath.
In and out.
Of the right nostril.
Now.
Feel the sensation of breath moving in and out of the left nostril.
Just breathing.
In and out.
Through this nostril holding your awareness here as breath moves through the nostril.
Now shift your awareness of the air moving through the right nostril.
Focusing on the feeling of breath just through that nostril Now shift it to the left nostril.
Now shifting the sensation of inhaling slowly to the right and pausing.
At the top of the inhale.
And allowing the exhale.
To release through the left nostril.
Pausing at the bottom Now feel the sensation of inhaling through the left nostril.
Holding it at the top.
Shifting your exhale out through the right.
Continue this pattern by inhaling back through the right nostril.
And moving side to side.
Effortlessly breathing.
Inhaling and exhaling.
Through each nostril at a time.
Slowly or at least a sensation.
And experience the sensation of breath moving through both nostrils simultaneously.
As you return your breathing to normal.
Take a conscious inhale of golden light.
Imagine you are inhaling clarity and calmness.
As you exhale.
Release indecision and fear.
Stay with that visual as you take a few more rounds of breath.
As you soften,
Focus on the breath.
Begin to turn to your mind's eye.
Start to see.
A beautiful body of water.
That expands beyond the horizon.
The sun glimmering softly among the constant movement of waves.
Sunset is arriving soon.
You are struck.
With the awe of expansion.
And the possibility.
Of what lies beyond what you can't see.
You are inspired by nature's abilities.
To create a beauty beyond your imagination.
It's a sensation that never gets old.
Because it feels new every time.
Now imagine a small conch shell.
You can see all of it.
There are a few plants in the water.
And ducks gliding along the water's edge.
There's tall vegetation around the pond.
Creating a barrier from anything that would disturb its peace.
The environment here is constrained and sheltered.
You appreciate the safety found in its stillness.
There is a felt sense of protection sourced from the ample resources supporting the pond's structured ecosystem.
Slow let go of that sensation shift back to that sense of expansion and awe from the ocean.
Now.
Shift back to the state of stillness and structure from the pond.
Could you now imagine holding space for both these sensations?
Simultaneously.
The expansion and all from the ocean held with the stillness and structure of a small pond.
Feel this duality deeper in the body.
Shifting the mind's eye inward.
Now begin to visualize the daily routine that is aligned with your desired lifestyle.
Feel the joy and accomplishment by reading through the body.
Feel how effortlessly you show up in spaces that once seemed out of reach.
Feel the ease throughout you.
Now imagine a life where nothing changes.
You feel out of alignment with your true evolution and desires.
You feel burdened by the daily responsibilities or obligations that overwhelm you in everyday life.
Each day you're unmotivated.
There is a deep frustration,
But also a subtle sense of safety in the predictability of your life.
Now.
Shift back to that feeling.
Of accomplishment and ease.
When living in your desired life.
Begin to let that go as you shift back to the frustration and safety.
Of living in it.
Predictability.
Could you now imagine holding space for both?
The contrast of feelings.
Both of these emotions at once.
All the tension between.
These sensations.
Deeper in the body.
Imagine yourself.
On the forest floor.
Cushion by MLC Patch staring up at the canopy of the trees protecting you.
The roots of the earth are flowing their wisdom into you as you lay here.
You can feel the bouncy,
But securely interwoven threads of art cradling the body.
You're being supported and nurtured.
With life force energy for you to grow beyond the forest canopy.
Sensing this unknown potential of growth feels a little fearful at first,
But you remember you are deeply rooted and connected to nature in this moment.
You are meant to expand into your truest desires.
You admire nature's wisdom.
How it grows and adapts exactly as it's meant to be.
Without effort or doing.
It can be a strong and destructive force.
While also a gentle and awe-inspiring teacher.
It just allows its beauty to bloom through cycles of rest,
Rebirth,
And recalibration.
It doesn't try to be something that it isn't.
It uses its discernment to foster energy exactly where it's meant to be.
In this moment,
You hear your inner voice.
You remember that you are also a part of nature and have access.
To that same wisdom.
You desire to create inspiration in your daily life.
That aligns with your expansive purpose.
For the next few moments of silence.
You fully open yourself to receive the intelligence of your soul's unique blueprint.
Taking your time.
Bringing you awareness.
Back to the center of your heart.
Feeling your Sankofa deeply.
Repeating it three times.
I create a purposeful life with deep presence.
Resourced in my authority,
Dharma,
And unwavering confidence in who I am meant to be.
You may bring your awareness back to being aware.
Begin to feel all the cumulative benefits of it.
Your practice.
The benefits.
Welcoming and gratitude.
And the healing frequencies of nature.
Grounding.
In the rise and fall of the birds.
Slowly.
Turn over to your right side.
And rest with this sensation.
This energy of returning to self for a few moments.
Slowly.
Begin to feel your body again.
Feel your fingers and toes.
Begin to find any gentle movements to reawaken.
As you return to the Self.
Check in with what you're feeling.
See if there's anything that you could be grateful for in this moment.
And connecting with what truly matters in your life.
Thank you so much.
For practicing with me today.
I hope this journey will be worth it.
Has reconnected you with something that's always been inside.
Your inner wisdom,
Your purpose finding that inspiration again.
It's a thing that can keep us going when We sometimes don't know what we want to do.
We can remember through.
Our practice today,
That we are a part of nature.
And we are always supported by this.
And it will help us find our way.
I hope that was inviting for you.
Have a beautiful rest of your day.
