Welcome to your empty cup meditation.

This is the floating island.

Hello,

My name is Brandon.

I will be your guide on this journey.

This is a quick meditation,

So let's get started.

Close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

We're going to do this three times.

I'll count them out.

You just follow along.

Inhale.

One.

Two.

Three.

Exhale.

One.

Two.

Three.

Inhale.

One.

Two.

Three.

Exhale.

One.

Two.

Three.

Inhale.

One.

Two.

Three.

Exhale.

One,

Two,

Three.

We're going to start with just your area.

You should be able to look down with your mind's eye and see your body below you.

Using that body,

I want you to put one finger on the ground in front of you.

From your finger,

A ring of light spreads outward.

That ring stops after it grows just a few feet in each direction.

This is the first ring of the self.

Inside of this space,

Everything is personal.

This ring has shown you a small portion of the world around you.

You are sitting on a comfortable,

Lush,

Green grass.

You can hear the air moving around you.

There are two trees inside of your ring.

You can hear the wind blowing through them.

You can hear the birds that perch in their branches.

We're going to expand your ring again,

Taking a deep breath through the nose and out through the mouth.

As you breathe out,

Allow a new ring to expand out further than the last.

Just about 10 feet or 3 meters from you in any direction.

This is the second ring of the self.

Inside of this ring are the things that are important to you and can be managed easily.

With your mind's eye,

You see more lush grass.

A small stream runs through this ring.

Its water is calm.

It easily flows along the rocks.

You can hear its movement,

But it does not distract you.

If anything,

It relaxes you.

The grass you're sitting on goes all the way to the edge of the stream and picks up on the other side.

There are more trees in this ring.

You can hear the wind blowing through them and rustling their leaves.

With the expansion of this ring,

You have a much clearer view of the environment around you.

You can see the clouds in the sky.

They move calmly,

Almost at a snail's pace.

And now,

We're going to expand your rings one more time.

We take in another deep breath.

In through the nose and out through the mouth.

As we breathe out,

Let's expand your ring one more time.

Push your circle outwards.

This ring goes out much further than the last one.

How far is up to you.

This is the third ring of the cell.

All things inside this ring ultimately require your attention.

But for now,

Just take a moment to recognize their existence.

The grass that you're sitting on travels through this ring but ends abruptly.

With your mind's eye,

You can see that this ring goes far beyond the edge of the floating island you're sitting on.

This island is not in the water,

But in the sky.

Clouds continue to flow through the air at a snail's pace.

Bring your attention back to the center ring.

Back to yourself.

Focus on the air that moves around you.

Breathe in air.

Pull this air in through your nose.

One.

Two.

Three.

And out through your mouth.

One.

Two.

Three.

Inside this ring,

You are strong.

Here,

You can feel your own energy.

It swirls around inside of your chest.

This energy cannot be taken away from you.

It is part of who you are.

It is the essence of you.

Whether you know it or not,

This energy courses through every fiber of your being.

And right now,

All it wants to do is eliminate any negative energy that has made its way inside of your inner ring.

Use your mind's eye.

See this energy coursing through your hands.

This is the same energy that pushed out your three rings.

Breathe in deep,

And on the exhale,

Allow this energy to press all negative energy out of your body.

Let your mind become calm.

Give it the opportunity to breathe with you.

You are the master of what happens in this ring,

But this is the end of our journey together.

You may stay here as long as you wish,

But the choice is yours.

You are the master of what happens in this ring.

You are the master of what happens in this ring.
