Mabon Fire

We have a family tradition to do a thorough clean-up of our backyard on the first day of Autumn, and then make a fire using dead branches and leaves from the clean-up. I love staring into the fire and watching the patterns grow and change and contemplate the time to come. The best part is staring at the dying embers of the fire as the night slowly darkens.
