Softly Falls The Rain (Relaxing Wash of Soft Rain Sound)
This spontaneous improvisation piece was created on April 1st, 2026, specifically for my musician friend, Matt Moore Zzyzx. This Pure Melancholy ‘noise colour’ is derived from Native Instrument's NOIRE virtual piano sound. It generates a consistent, soothing wash of static that resembles the gentle sound of soft rain, intentionally crafted to evoke an immediate lo-fi, intimate, and cinematic atmosphere. While composing this music, I envisioned people sitting in outdoor cafes in France with their dogs, and others dancing in the rain (even though I have never visited France).
