Meditation for talking to spirit guides.
Find a quiet place where you can be alone.
It doesn't matter if you're lying or sitting,
Just be aware.
If you're like me,
You're more likely to stay awake and present when sitting upright.
Close your eyes and begin to focus on your breath.
Focus on the pace of your breath,
How your chest rises and falls.
As you do so,
Starting at your toes,
Give the muscles in your toes and feet permission to relax.
Now tell your legs,
Your torso,
Your arms,
Fingers and shoulders to relax.
Focus on your mind now.
You may have thoughts poking in like,
I can't forget to hang out the washing or what am I gonna make for dinner?
Negative thoughts about yourself may even intrude.
This is the time now to gather them all up.
Place them in a chest,
Close the lid,
Lock it and boot that chest out the door.
These thoughts no longer serve you.
Tell your mind it can now be at peace and stay here in this moment of silence and peace.
Now turn your thoughts to the wonder of the vessel your spirit resides in,
Your body.
Starting at the individual cells,
Thank them for the ever constant work and regeneration they undergo.
Thank your organs that your cells make up,
Your muscles,
The blood flowing through your body.
Beam gratitude for all you can do because of them.
How wonderful you can enjoy this life because of your body.
This is the time where you can help your body heal of any ailments it might be facing.
Focus in on where you might be inflicted in some way.
A memory or an emotion may come to mind.
Try not to question what comes to your mind,
Rather accept it and release.
It is time to forgive,
Let go and move forward in health.
Now that you've released this,
Radiate more light,
Joy,
Healing and love to where it is needed and feel the warmth and gratitude envelop you as your body feels your love and attention.
In this state of peace and awareness,
Gratitude for your life,
Picture you are walking through a field of luscious green long grass in the springtime.
As you walk,
You feel the grass tickle up against your legs.
It is dusk so the sun is not glaring,
But a lovely pink hue fills the sky above.
You are alone but are headed to meet someone.
Ahead,
You see a beautiful old oak tree.
Its roots and branches spread out wide,
Providing a shelter as you enter in its sphere.
You feel its call to touch it and receive the healing it has for you.
As you reach out to connect to its trunk,
Be open and let its healing and wisdom fill your soul.
You are now grounded and ready to meet your spirit guide or guides.
When you feel that you have received all you need,
You turn around and there approaching you is your guide.
You may recognize this person.
It could be an ancestor,
Someone you have met in a previous life.
It might not even take a human form.
It could be an animal.
It could be a person that has been assigned to watch over you that you haven't met before.
Do not question what you see.
Trust it is who you see and as they approach,
How do you greet them?
Now is the time to be with them,
Your guides in this life.
Ask them whatever you feel called to.
This could be aid in manifesting your desires,
Questions of the heart,
What direction to go.
Trust that your spirit knows where to lead your conversation.
Okay,
It is now time to depart from this meeting.
Pause this audio if you feel you are not quite ready to end.
Say your goodbyes.
Remember,
You can return here whenever you need any more guidance.
How blessed you are to have guides in this life.
You are never alone and always watched over.
Slowly pull your awareness back to your body.
Begin to awaken your toes,
Your fingers,
You may need to stretch your neck,
Move your arms,
Your legs.
Before you open your eyes,
Think back on what you have received today.
Perhaps you may even want to journal the things that you have received to look back on at a later date.
Now open your eyes.
