Whether it was something difficult?
Something heavy or simply a quiet nudge that said,
I need a moment.
I want you to know.
That you have just practiced self-care.
This is you choosing you and this is important.
Let's begin by finding a position that your body is comfortable with.
That might be sitting or lying down.
Whatever feels natural to you.
Just allow yourself to move and adjust where you need to ease any tension Remember to keep breathing.
You don't need to change your breath or make it perfect.
Just let it be as it is.
Notice the air coming in.
And out the natural rhythm of your body.
Just that.
You might notice your mind is busy and that's completely okay.
That's what minds do.
You're not doing anything wrong.
Just very gently bring your attention back to your breath.
A bit like calling your mind in from playing.
Just softly,
Kindly,
Without frustration.
Keep breathing In a moment,
We're going to take three deeper breaths together.
There's no perfect here,
Just follow my guidance loosely to your own rhythm.
Taking a deep breath in and release.
Another deep breath in and breathe out and a deep breath in and breathe out And as you breathe in your regular way now,
Feel your whole body begin to soften just a little more.
Notice the surface below you kindly supporting you Notice the places where you're being gently held.
Let your forehead and the space around your eyes begin to soften.
Notice your jaw relaxing.
Let your shoulders release more.
If you can,
Let your belly soften You don't have to brace yourself here,
You really don't.
You are safe,
You are supported,
And this is your time.
I'm going to say something to you now and I'd like you to really let it in.
You are doing your best.
Even on days when it doesn't feel like it.
Days where all you can do is just keep breathing.
You are doing your very best each moment.
You carry so much within you and you keep going.
And even on days that you feel you can't keep going.
Your mind still tries to help you work it all out.
And so often you do all of that without anyone truly seeing how much it takes to keep going.
And I want you to know you don't have to keep earning your place in the world.
You don't have to keep proving that you deserve kindness,
Or rest,
Or love,
Or happiness.
You,
My friend,
Were born deserving these things.
It can be hard to believe or even understand this.
Today we're here to gently remind you of your inherent worth.
And the unique value you bring to life.
You are important.
This never changes.
It's just that life can get very lifey and in the confusion we can lose sight of our worthiness.
So we begin to doubt we have real worth.
We forget.
We lose our connection to our own value In time,
We come to believe we aren't enough.
That we get too much wrong.
You may think you're not good enough,
Not capable,
Wise or active enough.
You come to believe that you're not successful at all and you're just not lovable enough.
And this my friend is the famous false evidence appearing real.
Fear.
And I'm here to remind you.
That it is not and has never been true.
Even if someone else has taught you that you're not enough.
Especially if someone else has taught you that you are not enough.
This too is false evidence appearing real.
For you are worthy.
We're going to practice something that may feel a little uncomfortable at first.
And that is letting yourself simply be here as you are in this moment.
I don't mean a version of you that is fixed in ways you think you should be.
No,
Dear one,
We're going to allow you to just be here now as you are.
You may feel resistance and this is normal and natural.
Resistance is an old story in need of compassion.
So in this moment you're going to practice accepting the truth that you are enough.
Remember to breathe Let's begin gently now.
Imagine if you can a warm light.
Soft as candlelight,
Resting patiently,
Kindly beside your head.
This is a light of love.
Real love.
It demands nothing of you.
Who doesn't need to hear about your mistakes.
It has no interest in any belief that you're not good enough.
It knows that beliefs are stories solidified into,
This is what I think about me now.
That's all.
And this light of love knows only one thing about you.
That you are worthy of a flow of endless love.
That you are absolutely lovable.
Its only desire is to respectfully,
Fully love you beyond measure.
There is no mistake here.
This light cannot make mistakes and it is choosing you now.
Keep breathing now Notice how this light of love is gently,
Respectfully moving moment by moment.
Inside your head.
As it enters your mind,
It fills you with a vibration of pure love.
Acceptance and calm.
Feel it softening everything it touches.
Moving down through your face now.
Gently through your neck and your throat.
That place where we so often swallow our feelings and our words.
Feel it move into your chest now.
Into your heart.
And as it does,
Just notice what it's like to be loved generously by something that asks nothing of you.
Is choosing to simply love you.
Let it fill your arms,
Your hands.
Let it fill your belly.
Let it flow all the way down through your legs and into your feet.
You You are filled with warmth.
You are held in light.
You are loved gently,
Safely,
Right now,
Exactly as you are.
As you rest in this light of love I'm going to share some truths with you.
Resistance may arise within and that's okay.
Because you don't need to consciously believe what I'm saying yet.
The words will land where they need to and just know they will find their way.
In this moment,
I am meeting real love.
In this moment,
I am meeting real love.
In this moment,
I am meeting the love I need.
In this moment,
I am meeting the love I need.
It is given freely,
Naturally and gladly to me.
It is given freely.
Naturally.
Happily.
To me.
I am connecting with and experiencing love within me.
I am connecting with.

I recognise now I am meant to be here feeling lovable.
I recognize now I am meant to be here feeling lovable.
I recognize now I am lovable.

I notice I increasingly believe I am lovable.
I notice I increasingly believe I am lovable.
I notice I am increasingly loving myself for who I am.
I notice I am increasingly loving myself for who I am.
I know now I fully deserve to be here.

I know now that being here can mean being loved.
I know now that being here can mean being loved now.
I matter to me.
And this is kindness and importance.
I matter to me.

I value myself in practicing my self-care.

I inherently possess kindness.
It has always been a part of me.

I am worthy of love.
Not because of what I do.
But because I am.

Right now,
In this moment,
As I am,
I am worthy.

I choose now to fully allow love as I am.

Keep breathing my friend.
If a part of you wanted to argue with these words,
It's very normal as we begin.
That voice has been with you for a long time.
It thinks it's keeping you safe.
You don't need to fight it today.
You don't need to silence it or shame it.
Just whisper to it gently.
Thank you for trying to protect me.
But it's okay.
Real love is with us.
I am safe here.
Thank you for trying to protect me.

Because here's the truth.
The path to self-acceptance doesn't begin with self-improvement.
The path to self-love and self-acceptance goes through self-compassion.
It goes through moments exactly like this.
Where you stop,
Pause and breathe and choose even for a few moments to be kind to yourself.
This is real courage.
It is brave.
And it is real healing.
And you,
My friend,
Are doing it right now.
We're going to come back into the space around you slowly now and I want you to do this gently.
The way you'd wake up someone you care about.
Begin to notice the feeling of air on your skin and the sounds around you.
Let a little movement return to your fingers and your toes and take your time.
And when you're ready,
Take one last beautiful,
Deeper breath in.
And release.
This breath says,
I showed up for myself today.
All the warmth within you now is yours to carry with you.
Through your day and into your night.
You have done really well today my friend and come back as often as you need to remember your worthiness and lovability.
Gentle repetition is the key.
