We'll focus on the season of autumn,
A time for reflection,
Introspection.
And easing into cooler months and slower days.
Will aid our bodies with processing and digesting the experiences of the year so far.
Trusting how the seasons are reflected in us.
How we need the cooler,
Quiet moments.
After the peak and heat of summer.
Remembering that you have the ability to gracefully navigate the wisdom of each phase of life.
Knowing that this practice is adoptable in nature.
If you are well past due in sleep debt,
You may simply fall asleep.
If you're on a healing journey or spiritual quest.
The practice can spark insights or address roadblocks that are in your way.
Whatever you're bringing to your meditation.
Know that you can relax into giving your body,
Mind,
And spirit exactly what it needs.
Ensure that you are completely comfortable.
In the shape that your body has taken.
And any props that are supporting you.
Feel all of the places that your body is in contact with the surface below you.
Sense the weight of your skull.
Shoulders.
Arms.
Back,
Hips,
And legs.
And notice where there are spaces.
Behind the neck.
Low back.
Wrists.
Knees and ankles.
Allow both the places of contact and the gaps to soften.
The whole body completely at ease,
Safe,
And held.
Trusting your body's internal rhythm.
Of rest and sleep.
Bring your attention to the top of your head.
Sensing all of the receptors on your scalp.
Attention to the forehead.
Temples ears.
Eyebrows and eyes.
Cheeks,
Nose.
Your jaw.
Lips the inside of your mouth.
Resting in complete awareness of the head and face.
Bringing your focus down to the neck.
The shoulders,
Chest.
Upper back.
Mid back.
Lower back.
Upper abdomen.
Navel and the pelvis.
Resting in complete awareness of the torso.
Attention to the right upper arm.
Forearm.
The right hand.

Feeling natural awareness of its location and texture.
Attune to the location of joy and bliss in the body.
Observe sorrow and joy at the same time.
Uniting their reliance on each other.

And the smooth flow of energy to your organs.
Invite a deep sense of compassion for your current state.
