Close your eyes,

Sit up tall.

Take a few deeper breaths.

Imagine yourself standing in front of a doorway.

This doorway is sacred.

It is a threshold that you will step through.

In every moment of our lives,

We are stepping through doors.

We release our past self into the past and step forward into an unknown future.

At the same time,

We are creative collaborators with the unknown future.

And so as you're standing in front of the door,

Notice what it looks like in your mind.

What kind of door is it?

What color of door is it?

What shape?

Make it as clear as you possibly can.

If visualizing is difficult for you,

Let it be a sensation of a door or a vision of a portal.

Now think of something you're ready to leave behind.

A behavior,

A habit,

A job,

A purpose,

Your pain stories,

A relationship,

Grief.

Bring an image of this thing into your heart and bless it with light,

With love,

And with respect.

Recognize that this thing has helped you,

Taught you,

And brought you to this moment right here and right now.

See that you're subconsciously cutting any cords or releasing any ties that you're bound to.

And as you do that,

Take a deeper exhale with each release.

Once again,

Picture standing in front of the door and on the other side is a vast unknown space of limitless possibilities with the creative life force from the center of the universe that is always moving through you in every moment.

What do you want to call forward?

What do you want to collaborate on and bring forward into this vast space of every possibility?

Imagine what it is and feel it emanating right from the center of your heart.

See yourself standing tall in your dignity,

In your strength,

And your presence.

Now walk through the door and feel a sense of being free,

Liberated,

Refreshed,

Renewed,

And realigned,

Leaving what was behind.

You are supported by the threshold,

The earth.

So bring your left hand to your heart and your right hand to the earth.

This is a mudra called Bhumi Sparsha Mudra,

A touching of the earth,

Recognizing the earth as our witness.

Now go ahead and lay down and rest for five minutes.
