This is a meditation to relax the body. It is great to do when you are feeling tense or stressed, or unable to sleep. Music by Sambodhiprem.

So make yourself comfortable sitting or lying and close your eyes.

Have a feeling of moving from the outside to the inside.

Leaving behind all the busyness of the day and just being with yourself,

However you are.

Giving yourself full permission to do nothing right now.

To relax.

Moving your awareness down to your feet.

Tell your feet they can also relax now.

Nowhere to go right now.

Nothing to do except relax.

Feel your ankles relaxing.

And your lower legs.

Just letting go of all the tensions which in this moment you do not need.

Your knees letting go.

And your upper legs.

Just feeling your legs becoming heavier and heavier as they relax even more.

Your pelvic area.

And your belly.

Letting go.

Relaxing now.

Knowing that it's perfectly safe right now to just relax.

Feeling all the corners of your belly softening,

Melting.

Letting go.

Feeling that relaxation moving up to your chest.

Feeling the area of your chest relaxing.

Your lungs and your heart.

Letting go.

Letting go of any tensions,

Any hurts or wounds that in this moment you don't need.

Feeling that relaxation spreading up to your shoulders.

And moving down your arms.

Your elbows.

And into your hands.

Letting go.

Moving your awareness around to the base of your spine.

You can feel that relaxing now.

And moving up your spine.

Feeling all the muscles on either side of your spine just relaxing.

Letting go into whatever is supporting them.

Letting go.

Your shoulder blades.

Feeling your whole body becoming heavier as it relaxes even more.

Feeling your neck relaxing.

Your throat.

And your jaw letting go.

Your mouth.

Your cheeks.

And your eyes.

Feeling your eyes becoming very still and silent.

Like stones.

The top of your head relaxing.

And the sides of your head.

And the back of your head.

Pinning your whole face and head now.

Softening,

Relaxing more and more.

Relaxing. Her words help to go deeper. I liked that there was no bell st the end. I was able to stay in the relaxed state and continue on my own of letting go, rather than being startled back into "reality." Thank you!
