Welcome to your pleasure meditation.
Start by finding a comfortable space,
Either seated or lying down.
Using whatever blankets or pillows help support your practice.
Finding this place where you can soften into ease.
There's no distractions.
This place where you can be present with your body.
And then closing the eyes or relaxing the gaze.
Inhale,
Taking a deep breath in.
And exhale a long breath out.
Noticing any sensations,
Emotions,
Stories that feel alive in the body.
Observing them with a sense of detachment.
We often enter stillness with the urge to label whatever we find.
Labeling things as good or bad.
But in this space,
There's no right or wrong way to feel.
Your body is safe.
Every part of you is welcome.
Know that whatever you find is temporary.
It's just information passing through.
There's nothing to fix.
There's nothing to force.
Knowing that pleasure begins when we feel safe enough to soften.
Beginning to notice the breath flowing in and out.
There's no need to change the rhythm.
Just noticing.
Each inhale draws in a sense of nourishment.
And each exhale releases something that you no longer need.
Letting go of one small layer of attention with each breath out.
Now begin to imagine a warm golden light just above your head.
This light carries ease,
Vitality,
And invitation to feel good.
Knowing that you don't need to accomplish anything to deserve this feeling.
This light gives you permission to simply receive.
And on each inhale,
The light pours gently down over the body.
On each exhale,
It creates an easy melting sensation.
Feeling the light touch the crown of the head.
Draping down over the forehead,
The cheeks,
The eyes,
The lips soften,
The jaw releases.
The light continues to flow down through the neck and the throat.
Noticing space,
Openness,
A sense of freedom.
And as the light reaches the shoulders,
They naturally start to release.
As if a weight is sliding away.
Anything they've carried that isn't serving you anymore dissipates.
The light travels through the arms,
All the way to the hands and fingers.
Each muscle softens.
There's no effort here,
Only receiving.
Now feel the light move down the upper back,
The heart space,
The belly.
It warms you from the inside out.
Opening your heart to new possibilities.
Inviting safety and ease.
And this light flows into the pelvis and hips.
Allowing comfort and softness here.
A space of the body that often holds so many stories and truths.
But there's only gentle ease in this moment.
And finally,
The light travels down through the thighs,
The knees,
The calves,
All the way down to the feet,
Flowing into the toes.
Your entire body is now bathed in this warm,
Relaxing sensation.
And just resting here for a moment.
Each exhale is an opportunity to let go of tension,
Heaviness,
Any holding patterns.
And each inhale is an opportunity to invite in softness,
Vitality,
The possibility of feeling good.
There's no rush.
The more you release,
The more space you create to receive.
And noticing any sensations,
Any warmth,
Any tingling,
Any lightness,
Without needing them to change.
Begin to take a few deeper breaths.
Imagining the light gently expanding just beyond your skin.
And this radiating sense of clarity from the inside out.
A softness alongside a sense of power.
Nothing needs to be extraordinary to feel good.
You just need to be present.
And as you exhale,
Inviting gentle movement back into the body,
Wiggling the fingers and toes,
And keeping the eyes closed.
And silently repeat to yourself,
I am safe to release.
I am open to receive.
I am worthy of pleasure.
Knowing that pleasure isn't something to earn.
It's something to melt into through presence.
And whenever you feel ready,
You can slowly flutter the eyes open,
Returning to the space around you.
And just taking your time,
Reintegrating into the day.
Maybe making a cup of tea,
Getting a cool glass of water,
Going on a slow walk.
Knowing that pleasure starts with slowing down,
And knowing that it's okay to just be.
Thank you so much for practicing today.
