This meditation is a gentle invitation to slow down, melt, and soften. We often think that "feeling good" needs to come from extraordinary moments, but pleasure is about presence. With chronic pain and illness, we can get stuck in moments of labeling sensations as good or bad. During flare-ups especially, there can be feelings of desperation in wanting the discomfort to end as soon as possible. It’s natural to cling to what feels “good” and push away what feels “bad." But this practice is a soft reminder that easing into the moment, rather than fighting it, can sometimes open the door to a little more space and relief. In this gentle guidance and visualization, do what you can and explore moments of ease in a way that feels safe for your body. You’re always welcome to adjust, pause, or simply listen if that’s what you need today. You don’t need to accomplish anything to deserve feeling good.
