This is a short meditation to help you reset and release any bad moods,
Thoughts or energies.
We will use the humming breath,
Also known as bee's breath,
To help us calm our nervous system.
Then we will do a quick visualization to help release any of those negative thoughts,
Feelings or energies.
Find a comfortable position and give yourself plenty of room and space.
Feel the pull of the Earth's gravity on your body and let yourself settle into the sensation.
Now take a few cleansing breaths for yourself,
Breathing deeply from the very bottom of your belly.
You can imagine your lungs inflating like a balloon.
If you need help connecting to that deep belly breathing,
Feel free to put your hands on your belly so that you can feel your lungs inflate from that region.
Now we will begin the humming breath.
To do humming breath,
You will take a normal inhale and on your exhale you will make a humming sound like the sound mmm.
This will sound a little like a bee buzzing.
Let's begin.
Inhale Exhale Inhale And exhale Let the sound be natural.
There is no one way that the humming needs to sound.
Inhale And exhale Inhale Exhale Feel the vibrations from the humming sound resonating deep within your chest.
Inhale Exhale Mmmmm Now return to regular breathing.
And let's do a quick visualization to help us let go of any remaining negative thoughts,
Feelings or energy.
Visualize yourself standing next to a river.
This could be a real place on the earth that you know and love or you can imagine a brand new place for yourself.
Now walk into the river.
Feel the gentle flowing water running along your feet.
Walk into this water up to your waist.
And let this water help you to rinse away and dissipate any lingering bad feelings,
Bad thoughts,
Bad moods.
Let the water completely rinse and carry it all away from you.
Feel yourself getting lighter as this water washes and cleanses you of all of the debris.
All of the heavy and negative energy just rinses away.
Take a few more deep and cleansing breaths.
Now imagine yourself walking back out of the river.
Now prepare to return to your day.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Stretch,
Smile and feel gratitude for being able to rinse away all of that negativity.
Sending you peace and love and healing energy through the rest of your day.
