There are many thousands of Nadi's throughout our body, which on the physical level corresponding to the nervous system, but their influence extends beyond this to the Astral and Spiritual planes of our existence. "The Nāḍis penetrate the body from the soles of the feet to the crown of the head. In them is Prāṇa, the breath of life, and in that life abides Ātman, which is the abode of Shakti, creator of the animate and inanimate Worlds." This Mantra names 5 of the most important Nadi's and in doing so serves to awaken these energy channels so that we may experience our full Human potential.
