Good evening,
My friend.
You made it through another day.
Many of you have requested an evening version of my morning affirmations to rewire your brain.
So this practice is designed to be a complement to that one.
These evening affirmations are inspired by mind-body principles and are perfect for anyone recovering from neuroplastic conditions,
Anxiety,
Burnout,
Or nervous system overwhelm.
This is a perfect practice for winding down,
But not necessarily a sleep specific meditation.
So if you're looking for that,
I would recommend my softening into sleep track.
While the morning affirmations help you begin the day with empowerment and intention.
These evening affirmations are about trust and letting go.
They're about allowing your brain to unwind old fear-based patterns and rewire itself for calm and confidence.
As you settle in,
I invite you to accept this time for yourself.
To soften,
Reflect.
And allow your mind and body to integrate everything you've experienced today.
You can listen to this practice as you settle into bed.
Or anytime you're ready to relax for the evening.
Before we begin,
Take a few slow,
Easy breaths.
Inhaling gently through your nose.
And exhaling softly through your mouth.
Let the breath slow down naturally.
No need to force it.
Allow your shoulders to drop.
Soften your jaw and your belly.
Notice your body resting against the surface beneath you.
And feel the weight of the day beginning to melt away.
And now,
Repeat these affirmations quietly in your mind,
Or out loud if you'd like.
And try to feel into the energy of each statement,
Letting it resonate within your body.
I did enough today.
I am safe enough to rest now.
I am proud of myself for all the ways I showed up today.
I celebrate the little moments of joy,
Connection,
And beauty I experienced today.
I forgive myself for anything I wish had gone differently.
I choose to remember what went well today,
Rather than dwelling on what didn't.
I don't need to measure my progress by how I felt today.
I release any pressure to fix or figure anything out from today.
I don't have to hold everything together.
It's okay to stop trying so hard.
There is nothing more I need to do today.
I allow my body to soften and be supported.
My body naturally knows how to relax and restore itself.
I release any assumptions about how I will feel tomorrow.
Whatever tomorrow brings,
I will meet myself with kindness.
I am becoming more flexible,
Resilient and confident with each passing day.
I am rewiring my brain for greater capacity and ease.
I choose to trust the process.
My breath and body are slowing down,
Preparing for deep rest.
It is safe to let my guard down now.
I am here.
I am okay.
I am free to let go.
Notice the feeling of your breath now,
Slow and quiet.
Feel the softness and support of your bed or chair.
Trust that your nervous system is integrating these new patterns,
Whether you are transitioning into your evening activities or drifting into sleep.
Thank you for practicing with me,
My friend.
May you rest deeply,
And awaken tomorrow with a sense of lightness and renewal.
I'll see you in the morning.
