Hello everyone,
This is Bharath Kumar here with a short meditation exercise to help calm your nerves before an interview.
Find a quiet and comfortable place where you can sit or lie down.
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to relax your body.
Begin by bringing your awareness to your breath.
Notice the sensation of the breath entering and leaving your body.
Focus on the gentle rise and fall of your abdomen or the feeling of the air passing through your nostrils.
As you continue to breathe,
Imagine that with each inhalation you are breathing in calmness and confidence.
Visualize this positive energy filling your body,
Spreading to every cell and soothing any tension or anxiety.
As you exhale,
Imagine releasing any stress or negative thoughts.
Picture them leaving your body with each breath,
Allowing your mind to become clearer and more relaxed.
Now,
Bring your attention to any physical sensations you may be experiencing.
Notice any areas of tightness or discomfort.
With each breath,
Imagine sending relaxation and warmth to those areas,
Gradually releasing any tension.
Shift your focus to positive affirmations.
Repeat some empowering statements silently or out loud,
Such as,
I am capable and well-prepared.
I am confident in my abilities.
Or I am ready to showcase my skills.
Take a few moments to visualize yourself succeeding in the interview.
Picture yourself entering the room calmly,
Answering questions with clarity and confidence and leaving with a sense of accomplishment.
Finally,
Gently bring your awareness back to your breath.
Take a few more deep breaths,
Feeling the calmness and confidence within you.
When you are ready,
Open your eyes slowly and bring this state of calm with you into the interview.
Remember this meditation is designed to help you relax and center yourself before the interview.
Good luck and have a great day.
