This short meditation will help to activate and enliven your seven chakras to start your day. This meditation can be done sitting or laying down. The important thing is to find a position where you can be comfortable.

This meditation will activate and enliven your chakras,

The seven energy centers in your body.

Find a comfortable seat.

I invite you to close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Take a long,

Slow breath in and slowly let it go.

Take another slow inhale and a long,

Slow exhale.

One more time,

Nice and slow.

And now,

Return to a normal breath.

Allow your body to relax and I invite you to bring your focus to your root chakra at the base of your spine.

You can repeat after me or simply listen.

I am grounded.

I am secure in the knowledge that the earth supports me.

Now bring your attention to your sacral chakra,

The area of your abdomen.

I live with joy.

I look for fun in all I do.

Bring your attention to your solar plexus around the area of your stomach.

I listen to my inner voice and tune into my feelings.

Bring your attention to the area of your heart.

I love unconditionally and I am open to receive love.

Now bring your attention to your throat chakra.

Bring your attention to your third eye located on your forehead between your eyebrows.

Bring your attention to your crown at the top of your head.

I am a spiritual being.
