Transcript

In Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre,

Jane was called upon many times to be reactive.

To react to misread.

To react to Mr Brocklehurst,

And indeed to react to.

.

.

Mr.

Rochester when he begged her to stay with him as his mistress.

I care for myself.

Jane said,

The more solitary,

The more friendless,

The more unsustained I am,

The more I will respect myself.

It was a hard path,

Charlotte thought.

Bronte wrote for Jane.

And it was semi-autobiographical.

So Jane had a working knowledge of just how difficult.

Life was just how many challenges she would be faced with and was faced with and yet she remained stowing.

The more unsustained I am,

The more I will respect myself.

This is female empowerment at its finest.

And what better a master to listen to?

And Charlotte Frontier.

Thank you for listening.
