Teapot is an agender, queer, disabled space-holder offering gentle, trauma-aware support focused on emotional grounding, nervous system care, and Self-connection. A student of Sanātana Dharma since 1999, Teapot has spent decades studying contemplative and yogic traditions in temples, retreat centers, ashrams, and in independent practice. Teapot's path has included study with Hindu and Buddhist monastics, years living and working in holistic communities, and ongoing exploration of meditation, philosophy, and spiritual practice. In 2016, Teapot became certified to teach Hatha Yoga and Meditation through an ashram-based training program, and in 2022 Teapot completed certification to become a Peer Wellness Specialist through the state of Oregon. Drawing from yoga philosophy, breathwork, mindfulness, and time in nature as supportive tools alongside gentle asana classes, Teapot offers practices that support greater awareness, presence, and compassionate self-relationship. Teapot's work is shaped by lived experience and long-term recovery, including surviving foster care, childhood addiction and homelessness, navigating disability in adulthood, and living with chronic conditions. These experiences inform a compassionate, nonjudgmental presence grounded in deep listening and relational care. Teapot's offerings are especially supportive for people seeking a path of awareness with a guide who understands systemic harm, disability, and the complexity of the human experience.
