Hi,

I'm Susie from Unplugged Meditation,

And this meditation is focus and follow through.

It's one that I need for myself because I'm constantly bombarded by all the bright and shiny new things,

But this really will help us kind of stay true to our task.

And this isn't just about work.

This could happen in any aspect of our lives.

So let's take a moment,

Sit back,

Relax,

And close your eyes.

Let's take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through the nose,

And an audible exhale out through the mouth.

Just do that a few times,

Dropping your shoulders,

Relaxing your face.

Let's set one micro-intention of something that we'd like to place our awareness on today.

One thing that we know would feel incredible to complete.

It could be your morning meditation.

It could be an action,

A task.

Whatever it is,

This is your meditation.

Just choose one micro-intention.

And now taking a moment to just place all of your awareness on that one thing that you want to place your focus on.

And what would it take for you to actually complete and follow through on that one thing?

Where can you squeeze that into your day today?

One of my favorite mantras by Kerwin Ray is to look at this one thing and say to yourself,

This is simple,

This is easy,

And this is fun.

Whether it is or it isn't,

Just by saying this one thing will make it so much easier.

So silently say to yourself,

This is simple,

This is easy,

And this is fun.

Just repeat that a few times,

Imagining yourself completing this task by saying,

This is simple,

This is easy,

And this is fun.

And on your next inhale,

I will be focused and I'll follow through,

Letting go of all of the thoughts around it.

And we're just going to sit in stillness and silence for a few moments,

Knowing that all will be well.

When you're ready,

Take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

When you're ready,

You can open your eyes and remember that this is simple,

This is easy,

And this is fun.
