A gentle sound experience based on a single note, Sa, expressed through different vocalisations—humming, vowel sounds, and the syllable Om. Each layer arises and fades with simplicity, allowing the listener to encounter the same sound in multiple textures. There are no instructions or expectations; the track offers space to reflect on the quiet acceptance of things as they are—the way one note, unchanged, can hold many forms, much like the self in its many states. The piece is accompanied by tanpura, flute, and soft bells, creating a spacious backdrop for the voice to unfold naturally. (The composition, vocals and production are by Atiqa Sheikh, with influences from Hindustani Vocal practice and the meditative quality of sustained notes. The tanpura sound was created using iTabla Pro.)
