Pink Noise drowns out other sounds that can distract you, such as cars going by and people talking. It is a steady hum that can sound extremely similar to atmospheric noise (such as being out in nature or hearing wind and rain) that can help you sleep deeply and focus when needed. Many people find pink noise more relaxing than white noise since it doesn't sound as high-pitched.
