Find yourself a nice,

Comfortable and quiet place to sit for a few minutes.

Once you're there,

Take a few full,

Long breaths,

Breathing all the way into the chest and down to the tummy,

Exhaling out through the mouth,

And feel your muscles and your mind melt,

Even if it's just a little.

I invite you now to begin to visualise a moment from your childhood,

And we're going back to a safe,

Happy time,

And it can be from any age,

But transport yourself back to that moment.

Maybe even what you're wearing,

And become aware of what it is that you might be doing,

What activity are you participating in.

Let's use our senses to fully paint that picture,

And relive that moment.

What does it look like?

What surrounds you?

What colours are there?

What does it feel?

What does it sound like?

What can you hear?

Even noticing any smells,

The scent of flowers,

The ocean,

The paint.

And then also noticing what you can feel,

Both by touch,

And those sensations in your body,

The feelings,

Emotions.

What is it that this activity makes you feel?

Enjoy allowing yourself this space to explore,

To re-explore what it is.

Ask the question,

Why?

What is it about it that brought you joy,

That is bringing you joy right now in this moment?

Take a few moments to simply sit and enjoy all of the sensations,

All of the feelings,

All of your senses.

Begin to bring some gentle movement back into the body.

I encourage you now to take a few moments to journal everything that came up,

Anything that you can remember during that meditation.

Write everything down,

Remember it's only for your eyes,

No one else has to see it.

Well done for completing this meditation,

And I can't wait to hear what you experienced.
