Hello and welcome to the Spiritual Growth and Alignment Series,
Mindfulness Exercise number two.
Find a nice quiet space where you'll be free from interruptions.
Sit comfortably or lay down.
If you are sitting,
Place your feet flat on the ground.
Do not cross your legs.
Place your hands on your legs with your fingertips to your knees.
Take a nice deep breath in and gently release.
Then take another deep breath in and slow it down to a count of five and release to a count of five.
Draw your focus and awareness into the breath and to your body.
Feeling the sensations of the breath as your body begins to relax.
Allowing any thoughts to come and go,
Acknowledging them and allowing them to slip away.
Focusing deeply on the breath and the body.
Now say to yourself,
I allow divine guidance to lead my path.
I allow divine guidance to lead my path.
I allow divine guidance to lead my path.
As you're focusing on the breath and the body,
You feel the energy of divine wisdom swirling around and through you.
Say to yourself again,
I allow divine guidance to lead my path.
I allow divine guidance to lead my path.
Divine guidance to lead my path.
The energy of the divine guidance swirling in and around you.
Saying to yourself again,
I allow divine guidance to lead my path.
I allow divine guidance to lead my path.
I allow divine guidance to lead my path.
Draw your attention now back to the breath and your body.
Continuing the five count,
Deep breath in and then release.
Allowing your attention and awareness to also now expand to the now moment.
Allow yourself to gently open your eyes,
Wriggle your toes,
Wriggle your fingers,
To stretch your arms and your legs and bring yourself back in to the now moment with complete focus.
Ready to move on with your day.
