Hello and welcome.

Today,

I would like to speak with you about something that is often overlooked on the spiritual path.

Self compassion.

Many people begin a spiritual journey with a sincere desire to crawl.

To heal.

Become more peaceful,

More aware,

More aligned.

And this is something very beautiful.

But along the way,

Something subtle can happen.

Instead of becoming more compassionate,

We become more demanding with ourselves.

We begin to believe that we should always become,

That we should not feel anger or fear or sadness.

That we should be more disciplined,

More focused,

More Evolved.

And when we don't meet those expectations,

We judge ourselves.

That's what we do,

Right?

We feel like we are failing,

Like we are not doing enough,

Like we are not progressing fast enough.

This is a very common experience in the spiritual path.

It is also a misunderstanding of what this spiritual path truly is.

Spiritual growth is not about becoming perfect.

It is about becoming aware.

It is about learning to meet ourselves,

Not only in our clarity and peace.

But also in our confusion,

Our emotions,

Our humanity.

Self-compassion is what allows this meeting to happen.

We delete.

The path becomes rigid.

Heavy,

Yes?

Even pay for it.

With it the path becomes gentle.

Supportive,

Sustainable.

See the huge difference?

Okay,

So self-compassion does not mean we stop growing.

No,

Not at all.

On the contrary,

It does not mean we avoid responsibility or ignore our patterns.

It means we learn to walk the path.

With kindness toward ourselves,

Yes.

We think a lot in the spiritual path about being kind with other people,

You know,

But many times not about being kind toward ourselves.

To understand this more deeply.

It can help to reflect on how we treat others also.

When someone we care about is struggling,

We usually respond with patience.

We listen,

We try to understand,

We offer support.

But when we are the ones struggling,

We often do the opposite.

That's what we do.

We criticize.

We rush.

We expect ourselves to fix it immediately,

Right away.

We don't have any patience many times with ourselves.

Have compassion.

Is the practice of offering ourselves The same kindness.

We saw natural offer to others.

It is saying internally It's okay to be where I am.

It's okay to feel what I feel.

I'm allowed to grow at my own pace.

This does not stop transformation.

In fact,

It creates the safety that transformation requires.

Because real change does not come from force.

It doesn't ever.

It comes from awareness,

Patience,

And understanding.

Even in meditation,

This is very important.

Sometimes we sit to meditate and what happens?

The mind.

It's easy.

Very busy.

Lots of rice.

Emotions arise.

Restlessness appears in the mind,

In the body.

And instead of simply observing,

We become frustrated.

We think.

I should be more focused.

I should be better at this.

But meditation is not about controlling the mind.

You will never be able to do so.

It is about learning to be present with whatever arises.

And that compassion allows us to do exactly that.

It allows us to sit with ourselves.

Not as a problem to fix.

But as a presence to understand.

There is also something deeper that happens when we practice self-compassion.

And it is beautiful.

We begin to suffer.

We begin to release the inner tension that comes from constantly trying to do better.

And in that softness,

Something opens.

We become receptive,

More intuitive,

More connected.

Because we are no longer in resistance with ourselves.

The Special Path.

It's not meant to be a path of pressure.

Is it part?

Of returning to who we truly are,

To our essence as the soul.

It is a path of remembering.

And returning us to presence,

To awareness,

Returning to a deeper truth within ourselves.

Self-compassion is what makes that return possible.

If you notice that you have been hard on yourself,

If you feel that you are not doing enough or not progressing as you should,

Take a moment.

It is that as easy as that.

Just take a moment.

Boss.

And gently.

Yourself.

What would compassion feel like right now?

It is taking a break.

Maybe it is breathing more slowly.

Maybe.

It is simply allowing yourself to be as you are.

Without trying to change anything.

Even this small shift.

Can make a big difference in your life.

Because the way we relate to ourselves shapes the entire journey.

You do not need to become perfect to walk a spiritual path.

You only need to be willing to meet yourself.

Again and again.

With honesty.

Presence and with kindness.

Yes,

Kind of.

So today,

The invitation is simple.

Be gentle with yourself.

Not someday.

When you have figured everything out.

But now,

Today,

Just right now,

Exactly as you are.

Now forget about that.

Okay,

So thank you for listening and watching and for practicing self-compassion on your spiritual path.
