When Your Body Speaks
by Lisa Berman
What if your body is not something to control, fix, or fight, but a part of you to listen to? This contemplative reflection invites you to slow down, become curious, and develop a more intimate relationship with your body. Through mindful body awareness, presence, and reflective questions, you are invited to notice sensations, tension, discomfort, energy, and subtle signals without immediately trying to change or interpret them. Rather than searching for hidden meanings, this practice opens a space for mindfulness, self-awareness, self-compassion, relaxation, embodiment, and deeper connection with yourself. It may support listening to your body, stress relief, emotional awareness, and a more trusting relationship with your body. Sometimes the body does not need us to have an answer. Sometimes it simply needs us to listen.
