Welcome,
Dear soul.
Find a comfortable position.
Gently close your eyes,
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
And slowly release it through your mouth,
And again,
And again.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Once more,
Slowly.
Now begin to notice your body from the inside.
You don't need to change anything,
Just observe.
Where do you feel tension?
In your chest,
Your stomach,
Your throat,
Or your shoulders?
The state before performing is rarely quiet.
It is often charged,
Alert,
Ready.
This isn't wrong,
This isn't a mistake,
It is stored energy.
Now imagine yourself standing at the foot of a mountain.
You look up,
See the rocks,
The winding path.
There is no fog,
But there is no calm sunshine either.
The wind is blowing.
It is strong,
It pulls at your clothes.
It stretches your jacket like a sail.
It moves through your hair.
The wind is the excitement inside you,
The tension you feel before an exam,
A presentation,
An interview,
A casting,
Or an important conversation.
Do not try to stop it,
Just notice it.
The mountain doesn't move,
The wind simply moves around it.
Now you begin to walk upward,
Step by step.
Sometimes,
The wind grows stronger,
Sometimes it softens,
But your feet remain steady.
With every step,
You may say quietly to yourself,
This is energy.
This isn't danger.
My body is preparing me.
Feel that the tension in your chest is not your enemy,
It is like a drawn bow.
A bow is not bad,
A bow stores power,
Nothing more,
Nothing less.
Now imagine reaching the plateau.
The wind still blows,
But it no longer pushes against you.
It simply moves around you.
Stand still for a moment,
Feel the ground beneath your feet,
And take a deeper breath.
Inhale,
The wind moves through you.
And exhale,
The wind passes,
But your body remains steady.
Now imagine the tension inside you beginning to flow,
It moves from your chest,
Down into your abdomen,
Into your thighs,
And through your legs,
Into the earth.
The mountain holds it,
Just as it holds you.
The wind is not your enemy,
The wind is strength.
If you are standing before something important,
Allow the energy to be present.
It doesn't need to disappear,
It only needs direction.
Silently say,
I am ready.
My body supports me.
The energy works with me.
Take one slow,
Deep breath.
And now imagine the wind no longer blowing against you,
But from behind you.
Gently moving you forward,
Not pushing hard,
Not overwhelming you.
Simply supporting your movement.
The mountain is steady,
You are steady.
And the wind is part of your motion.
Slowly bring your attention back to your body.
Notice your shoulders,
Your hands,
Your legs.
Take one final deep breath.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes.
The energy is still there,
But now it moves with you,
Not against you.
