This seed came to me as I looked at my pawpaw trees in my garden.
As I stepped back,
I had a whole different view.
You may have heard the saying,
Feels like I've taken one step forward and two steps back.
This can leave one feeling disheartened.
If you feel like you've taken a step back right now,
Please know that it is not a loss.
It is a preparation.
The pause is not empty and carries momentum.
The seeming setback is not failure.
It contains space and insight,
Dear one.
I invite you to plant this seed.
What if taking a step back simply gives you a better view?
Breathe and let that idea settle in the soil of your mind and body.
Could it be possible that this step back is exactly what you need?
What if a step back or two steps back or three steps back isn't a loss but a preparation?
Let's change the way we see it.
Sometimes what feels like a setback is really a set up.
Here,
I invite you to change perspectives.
What if you're not really stepping back at all?
What if you're preparing to spring ahead,
More ready,
More powerful than before?
Spirit is always guiding us deeper into ourselves.
Breathe.
Can you sense a little space opening inside you?
You may notice a quiet seed of strength growing within you,
A clarity,
A gentle knowing that life in its own way is supporting you.
And in this trust,
In this patience,
In this letting go,
What if we release the judgment of where we think we should be or how we think things might go or should go?
If we surrender that control and dive into the mystery.
This reminds me of something my pop used to say.
Things always have a way of working out and don't they just?
Breathe.
This seed can be tenderly nurtured in the soil of your mind and heart.
It can carry us on heavy,
Tough days.
Do you need to carry it with you today?
Now I know this is something that takes time to truly come to know.
It may challenge some of your core beliefs about control,
Timing and what progress should look like.
Breathe.
Notice a gentle shift in your body,
In your perspective,
The opening of space where faith and trust can take root.
Can you allow yourself to trust just a little more in this moment that life is guiding you forward?
What if taking a step back simply gives you a better view?
Allow yourself to trust the process of your own life,
Divine unfolding.
Trust your inner guidance,
Your intuition and the rhythm of life.
Breathe.
Oh,
Be kind to yourself,
For there is no step wrong.
We are always learning and always supported.
I am grateful for my garden and all the things it shows me.
Life,
Growth,
It takes patience,
Persistence,
Commitment and faith.
Breathe and allow yourself to sit with these seeds.
Which one will you,
Which ones will you plant inside the soil of your heart?
I invite you to journal about them,
To go deeper,
To sit with what this all feels like for you.
