Sometimes,
Throughout the day,
We absorb a lot.
Other people's emotions,
Stress,
Expectations,
The general noise of the world.
Over time,
It can start to feel heavy or draining.
This short meditation is a way to gently return to yourself.
It helps you ground your body,
Reconnect with your own energy,
And create a clear boundary so you're not carrying what was never yours to hold.
Let's begin.
Find a comfortable position and allow your body to settle.
Take a slow breath in through your nose,
And release it gently through your mouth.
Again,
Breathing in,
And letting it go.
Begin to notice the places where your body touches the ground or the chair beneath you.
Feel the support holding you up.
Allow your shoulders to soften,
Your jaw to unclench,
And your breath to move naturally.
Imagine now that beneath you,
The earth is steady and welcoming.
With each breath out,
Let any tension drain down into the ground,
Where it can be composted and transformed.
Now,
Bring your awareness to the space just around your body.
Imagine a soft,
Luminous bubble beginning to form around you.
It can be any color you'd like.
It's around you completely,
Above your head,
Beneath your feet,
And all around your body.
This bubble is gentle,
But strong.
It allows love,
Care,
Empathy,
And nourishment to pass through.
But anything heavy,
Draining,
Or misaligned,
Simply bounces off and returns to where it belongs.
Take a moment to feel this boundary around you.
Your time.
Your space.
Your energy.
Quietly remind yourself,
My energy belongs to me.
I am allowed to protect it.
I am allowed to keep what is mine and release what is not.
With every breath,
Your bubble grows steadier and brighter,
Holding you safely in your own energy.
Take one more slow breath in,
And as you exhale,
Gently return your awareness to the room around you,
Bringing this protective space with you as you move along throughout your day.
