Loving-kindness meditation, also known as "Metta" meditation, is a practice that encourages the cultivation of compassion, love, and goodwill toward yourself and others. Through repeating positive affirmations or phrases, you open your heart to healing energy, sending love first to yourself and then expanding it to loved ones, neutral individuals, and even those with whom you may have conflict. This meditation fosters emotional well-being, promotes empathy, and enhances connection with others. Love Everyone.

Find your easy seat and allow your eyes to soften closed.

You may rest your palms on your thighs and start to bring your awareness to your breath.

We'll take a full breath in together through our nose and open mouth to exhale to release it.

And once more just like that an expansive breath in to fill up and open mouth to let it all go.

From here we will slowly shift one hand over our heart and one hand over our belly as we start to breathe in and out of our nose.

Allow this breath to create a rhythm that sinks you deeper into this essence of awareness and reminds you of your true and natural state of peace absorbed with love.

We will start by giving this love and kindness to ourselves.

So I'd like you to envision your beautiful self as if you're looking in a mirror and you feel this radiance of love wash over you and pump through your heart.

As you offer up this love to yourself,

You repeat out loud or silently to yourself these words.

May I be happy.

May I be healthy.

May I be free of suffering.

May I live in peace.

May my life be blessed with ease.

You may keep your palms over your heart and belly or release them back down to your thighs as we move outwardly.

I'd like you to bring to mind someone that you love very dearly.

Someone that supports you,

Maybe a partner,

A friend,

A parent,

Brother,

Sister.

I'd like you to feel that love pumping through your body and send your love to that person and repeat these words.

May you be happy.

May you be healthy.

May you be free of suffering.

May you live in peace.

May your life be blessed with ease.

From here,

We will continue moving outwardly as we sink deeper into this essence of compassion.

I'd like you to,

If you're able,

Bring to mind someone who has caused you pain.

Someone who has hurt you in one way or another and try to see them as human beings.

As you feel your heart pumping with love.

And then imagine giving this love to them and repeating these words.

May you be happy.

May you be healthy.

May you be free of suffering.

May you live in peace.

May your life be blessed with ease.

Now envision the entire world as a collective consciousness,

As a universal soul.

As one unit,

United.

And imagine this love swelling in your heart and send it out into the entire collective and repeat these words.

May we be happy.

May we be healthy.

May we be free of suffering.

May we live in peace.

May our lives be blessed with ease as you shift both palms over your heart center.

This is where we ignite and activate an infinite source of powerful love that resides within us always.

We will bring our palms to touch and our thumbs to our third eye to solidify this practice we take about.

From my heart to yours.

Namaste.
