Health In Balance: Discovering The Sources Of Your Wellbeing

With Julius Pieth

What truly nourishes health in everyday life? And how can we perceive what keeps us internally stable, alive, and connected? In this course, you are invited to encounter these very questions in a calm, mindful, and experience-oriented way. The focus is not on optimizing behavior, but on consciously exploring what strengthens you from within. You will explore core psychological needs and resource-oriented experiential qualities—not as mere theory, but as an immediate experience within your own body, thoughts, and feelings. This creates a direct access to what carries and supports you in daily life. The course is guided by four central need and resource areas derived from health psychology, salutogenic, and motivational psychology models. These include autonomy, competence, and connectedness, as well as the complementary experiential areas of recovery and purpose orientation. Through guided reflections, body awareness, and short integration impulses, a calm, clear, and practical space is created in which you can get to know your own inner balance better. In this course, you can, among other things: - consciously perceive your personal resources in daily life - deepen the connection to your needs and inner signals - strengthen self-efficacy, stability, and inner orientation - experience connectedness with yourself and your environment - develop more calm, clarity, and alignment in everyday life You do not need any prior knowledge. All you need to bring is curiosity and the willingness to meet yourself mindfully. Health does not only come from reducing stress, but equally from connecting with what strengthens us. This course invites you to rediscover these empowering qualities in your own life. Since the course is experience-oriented, many contents unfold their full effect especially upon repeated listening. Often, something new reveals itself each time—less in thought, and more in direct experience. If this approach resonates with you, you will find further content on my profile to accompany you on your path to greater awareness, stability, and inner balance. Complementary Resources on My Profile: To support your practice beyond this course, you can find further resources on my profile designed to fit different moments of your day: Introduction to My Approach (Introductory Track) To understand the vision behind my work, you can listen to my dedicated introductory track. It explains my resource-oriented, health-psychological approach and how you can best utilize my multilingual content for your personal journey. Daily Routine: "Your Space For Wellbeing" (Course) While this current course focuses on internal exploration, this companion course provides practical structure through a morning meditation for mental clarity and an evening session with natural river sounds for transition into rest. Acoustic Support: Research-Inspired Music Tracks I also offer three continuous music tracks incorporating subtle binaural elements. They are inspired by neurological research on music and stress relief, designed as a gentle acoustic support to help your nervous system settle during times of tension (best experienced with headphones). Feel free to explore my profile and follow my work to build the personal toolkit that serves you best.

Meet your Teacher

Julius holds a Master’s degree in Prevention and Health Promotion and a Bachelor’s degree in Sports, Health, and Nutrition. He is also a certified stress management trainer trained under Prof. Dr. Gert Kaluza. For over ten years, he has worked in the field of health promotion across various contexts, primarily in psychosocial counseling and supporting individuals navigating stressful life situations. In his work, he bridges scientific health psychology with a practical, resource-oriented focus on what strengthens individuals. He is particularly interested in how we can connect better with our own needs in daily life to develop greater stability, clarity, and wellbeing. A core focus of his approach is the concept that health arises primarily from the interplay of internal and external resources—namely through self-awareness, meaningful relationships, and a supportive environment. He is convinced that the conscious perception of fundamental needs like autonomy, connectedness, and competence forms an essential foundation for mental wellbeing. In this process, a kind, mindful relationship with oneself and others plays a distinctive role.
