In this silent meditation, we are guided into silence by a singing bowl, where we then stay for a while before I strike the next note. Allow yourself to be mindful and kind to yourself. If thoughts or feelings arise, whatever is there - let it be. Silence is your friend. Please also note: Meditation does not replace therapy. If traumas, traumatic memories etc. are awakened, make sure to get the help you need. Picture by DanielKirsch on Pixabay

Transcript

Hello and welcome to this silent meditation.

Today we will be guided into silence by a singing bowl.

I will strike it gently and together we will listen to the sound until it fades away.

Then we will stay in the silence for some time before I strike the next note.

Whatever should come up during that period of silence,

Just sit,

Be aware and be kind to yourself.

Sit in a posture that suits you,

Either on a meditation cushion or on a chair,

So that you feel good and can straighten your spine.

If you want to do the meditation lying down,

That's fine too.

So make yourself comfortable and allow yourself three deep breaths.

Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.

And after the third time,

I will then begin to strike the very first note.

Allow yourself to come back to your breath,

To bring some movement into yourself.

Maybe you want to stretch or have to yawn,

Anything is fine.

I hope you enjoyed the meditation and can take something from it into your everyday life.

Thank you for being here and I wish you a wonderful day.
