Meditation Timer OnlineJosie is a former editor at a busy national newspaper who discovered the power of breathwork and meditation to manage stress caused by work and the demands of London life. She first experienced these practices through her other passion of yoga, of which she has been a student of for 15 years and teacher for five years, but has been drawn more to inward, quiet practices over time. She is now a qualified breathwork and meditation teacher, and yoga nidra teacher. Josie particularly leant on breathwork and meditation during a challenging time dealing with PTSD, depression and anxiety, as well as physical injuries, following an accident in early 2025. She feels she would not have healed from her trauma as quickly or as fully without having these practices to improve her mental health. Josie’s approach combines science-backed stress relieving breathing practices with positive affirmations and soothing meditations designed to boost self esteem, joy and relaxation, and encourage her students to let go of the things which aren’t serving them. She believes everyone has the inner power to live more healthily, happily and confidently in their own skin, and these practices can help us do so.
